フロントスタッフは親切で感じが良い。 清掃スタッフはベッドメイキングとタオル交換はやってくれたが、コップやケトルを洗ってくれなかった。コーヒーカプセルの補充も9泊の滞在で一度だけだった。 チェックイン後にラゲージをフロントに預けたい場合、10段程度の階段を自分で運ぶ必要がある。 ロケーションは、地下鉄の出入り口が目の前、スーパーが隣で申し分ない。 大通りに面していて、近隣にレストランも多く、夜間に歩くのも治安上の心配はない。

メトロの駅が目の前で、隣はスーパー、立地は最高だと思います。エッフェル塔もブラブラ歩いて行けます。すぐ近くの通りにはレストランや果物屋などが立ち並び、食べるものには困りません。エリアの治安はとても良い様に感じました。入り口が狭くてわかりにくいですが、本当にスーパーの真隣です。部屋は2人でギリギリ、ベッドが部屋の大きさに対して大きめでそれはよかったのですが、ゆえにスーツケースは小さ目×2だったのでなんとか広げられましたが、大型のスーツケースだと難しいかも。バスタブはありませんがシャワーはキレイで勢いも温度も許容範囲、よくあるカーテンのないバスタブ(床が濡れるやつ)よりは全然良いです。エレベーターありますが、人生で一番狭いエレベーター！2人でスーツケース持ってる状態だと真っ直ぐ立てずアクロバティックな体勢を強いられます、知らない人とは一緒に乗れる感じではありません（笑）でも客室数少ないからか他人とすれ違う事はほとんどありませんでしたね。フロントの方はチェックイン時もチェックアウト時も同じおじいちゃんで、親切でいい感じでした。部屋にミニバーがありますが、ただの冷蔵庫なのでスーパーで買ったヨーグルトやフルーツを冷蔵出来てとても便利でした。湯沸かしポットとコーヒーメーカーもあります。値段はユーロ高もあって高く感じました…もう少しお安く泊まれたらなあと思いますが、オリンピックに向けてもっと値上がりするのかも知れませんね。でも駅近なので歩き疲れて帰って来てもすぐホテルっていう安心感はポイント高いです。

エレベーターのみ小さく遅く不便だが、それ以外はスタッフ対応、立地などすばらしい。

思ったより部屋も広く清潔感があって綺麗。駅の出口からすぐでとても便利。ホテルの入口が少し分かりにくい。しかし、すぐ近くにスーパーもあり便利。ルームキーもフロントに預けなくていいので気軽に外出。

Didn’t like entrance, squishy with luggage and lots of stairs. Had to send luggage up by itself and partner went up stairs to get it cause elevator only fit 2 people very squishy. Eiffel Tower view was amazing so worth it. Location was good, staff somewhat helpful. Don’t bother with breakfast there. Metro close but extremely busy wouldn’t recommend with luggage unless just 1 small bag.

Location location safe metro outside no where to sit in the day very small room no extra coffee pay for extra there was not breakfast that was worth paying for. If you plan on dropping your bags and never being at hotel it is a good location but if you like eat and relax in common area have a drink this is not the place.

Great location in the Kensington area away from the major tourist areas.

Simple but totally acceptable small hotel in a fantastic locale, easy walking to Eiffel tower and other sites in a characterful treelined neighborhood. Everything one could expect from an (relatively) inexpensive, just for sleeping, accomodation. Good.

It was not clear to us that we would be charged for the small breakfast

The air conditioning would not remain at the colder setting which we desired. The bathroom was new. The elevated only accommodated one person and one piece of luggage. There were no storage drawers in the room. The mattress was poor. The location was great, btu I would not recommend this hotel.

It is a great location with quick access to subway line M8 and a short walk to Tour Eiffel. The hotel was perfect for a 3-night stay: clean and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants in the area; some are on Google maps, and some are not.

I am going to preface this by saying the overall hotel stay was great, especially considering we spent very little time in our actual hotel. That being said, please please note that there is absolute truth in the reviews that state the hotel rooms are very small, especially compared to what most Americans are used to in the States. However, my stay was about convenience, safety, and simply having a clean place to rest. I spent very little time in the actual hotel room. The staff were very kind and helpful. The evening we arrived, the desk attendant was kind enough to give me a map of the entire city, and explained how to get to all the most desirable sights to see. He made restaurant recommendations and provided lots of advice from a local’s perspective. The elevator is tiny. We could only go up one at a time with our bags. Keep that in mind. Still, it did not take away from the overall experience. It was very helpful that a metro station is literally right outside the door. We could easily walk to the Eiffel Tower, and there were tons of restaurants nearby, plus a convenience store. I felt safe the whole time I was there, never concerned about anything. No, this is not the ritz, but it served its purpose well and met my needs.

Our time at the Hotel Royal Phare was amazing. We were greeted at the front door with a friendly staff that spoke perfect English. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower! Steps aware from a metro station, easy walk to Eiffel Tower and museums. Many lovely restaurants in the area. Bed was comfortable.

The rooms are clean but compact, equipped with everything you need: air conditioning, a hairdryer, tea maker, fridge, safe, wardrobe, desk, and a large TV. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with a quality 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash. We stayed in a street-view room, which was well soundproofed against traffic noise, and the curtains effectively blocked out the sunlight. The beds were firm yet comfortable, and the pillows were soft but supportive. The room had carpeted floors, while the bathroom was tiled. They offer a light breakfast, but there are plenty of fantastic cafes just around the corner. Additionally, there's a cash point near the entrance and a grocery store next door. The Metro Line 8 station is right outside the door, making it easy to walk to most of the sights.
