駅からも徒歩圏内。正面に城があり、城のライトアップも楽しめる。繁華街も5分ほどで、22時くらいでもホテルまでの道に人通りがあり、ロケーションは最高。ただし、曜日によっては12時から17時まではクローズしていることもあり、チェックイン前-アウト後に荷物を預けるときは要注意。

Excellent accueil Hôtel très bien placé

The location is excellent. We arrived early evening so parked for free on road outside by the castle. Next morning, 9am, we paid we paid €10 for 6hrs at the meter. Reception guy was friendly and helpful. Suggested places to eat and areas to explore. Hotel is not modern or spacious, but has character and a nice change from the usual chain hotels.

This hotel surpassed our expectations. We had read good reviews, particularly of the service, but we were not prepared for such a wonderful welcome. We arrived a little early but Christophe immediately went to see if the room could be prepared for us as soon as possible and gave us a very welcome coffee while we waited. This set the tone for our stay. Christophe and Pierre Louis were friendly, helpful and available for advice, information and help whenever needed. The hotel is a walk of less than 15 minutes from the station, and has a wonderful location right opposite the castle. The view from our room was amazing. The entrance is via a keypad on a door next to the cafe which leads straight to the stairs and the rooms. There is no lift as such but there is a luggage lift so no need to carry suitcases up the stairs. The cafe which is part of the hotel is frequented by locals, always a good sign. It's well worth taking the continental breakfast here, with as much delicious coffee as you want, and a good choice of food including baguettes and mouthwatering croissants fresh from the boulangerie right next door. Good value for money at 11 Euros each. Our room was not particularly plush, but warm and comfortable with a good size bathroom, perfect for what we needed. We plan to return to Angers to explore the area further and will certainly stay at the Marguerite d'Anjou next time we visit.

Très bon accueil dans cet hôtel super bien placé. Chambre pour trois personnes spacieuse et très propre avec vue sur le château. Petit déjeuner convivial.

Great location across the castle. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very quiet room facing the back. Convenient luggage lift since there is no elevator.

After 8pm access was via a side door not through the cafe reception on weekends. …… or after 9pm mid week. Access to our room was to climb one flight stairs then get the lift. The staff were very helpful

Nice clean hotel Shame about building work right outside which wasn’t mentioned Lack of lift could be a problem as there are a lot of stairs to our room

Très bien vue sur le chateau

What a super small hotel this is. While the rooms and facilities are simple, the quality of service and personal attention is exceptional. The castle is literally on the doorstep.

A great place to go is the indoor market down by the river, you can choose your cheese , breads and wine and have a great lunch there. Opposite the hotel over the river is a rooftop bar which amazing views. We will be going back Worth while having the breakfast for only 11euros

Cute little place right across the street from the chateau! Room was comfy and had all the amenities needed to enjoy my stay. Walking distance to everything. Seriously cannot beat the location!
