Moxy Lille City

The body soap was empty and had not been refilled during my stay. I could not use my PC comfortably in the room because there was no desk.

Personnel accueillant, parking facile d’accès.

Kamer was goed schoon echter de douche alleen veel kalk op de tegels en weinig water uit de douchekop. Verder prima. Goed ontbijt en op loop afstand van centrum!

Nice looking hotel, but not worth the money they ask for

La literie est vraiment mauvaise.

Hotel en kamers waren schoon. Het ontbijt was heel slecht. Wij waren er om 09.30 en hebben een kwartier staan wachten op schone borden. Daarna geen plek om te eten in de lobby/restaurant. Dus we zaten met meerdere mensen met ons bord op schoot. Erg jammer maar het hotel zelf ligt prima in de stad.

Situé dans un bâtiment classé magnifique. Proche centre ville. Concept moderne, déco indus tres bien réalisée. Chambre plus décevante, confort minimum (un seul oreiller par personne, une cafetière Nespresso hors service, lumière blafarde peu agréable dans la petite salle d eau. ) chambre petite et peu lumineuse sans charme. Petit déjeuner complet mais peu d espace pour se servir et apprécier. Expérience mitigée vu le prix payé.

Superbe hotel dans un lieu atypique bien situé. Personnel sympa et petit déjeuner en buffet très varié.

The hotel was in an excellent location and is an interesting concept. The room was well designed but the mattress was so-so. There was a strange odor in the hallway like glue. I would stay again hoping that these issues woyld be improved.

Rude staff + bedbugs + bad amenities + No AC The location is the only positive. However, the service is terrible and the receptionist with glasses is particularly unhelpful. Her default response to anything is “no” “fully booked” or “not possible”. For example, she initially said there was no parking but then when a colleague gave us a space we discovered there were loads available. The internal design is strange too. We weren’t given any introduction so we had to search for the garage and hotel entrances after 10 pm when the main outside gate closed. The rooms are tiny and the lighting is poor. I’m quite surprised this is part of Marriott Bonvoy. The temperature in Lille was 24 degrees, yet the room was boiling hot and there was no air conditioning. It was centrally controlled and set to heat mode. Rooms facing the front yard can be very noisy from drinkers sitting outside.

Despite emailing regarding parking, we were told our space was no longer available and we would have to park on the street or a car park a ‘short’ walk away. We managed to park on the street. We were told there was food available until 10pm, we tried to order at 8pm and was told that there was a pizzeria up the road. We booked The Moxy because there was parking and food available!

Notre couette était à la fin de sa vie , toute fine, l’épaisse d’un drap , avec des boules à l’intérieur !

Établissement propre mais minimaliste. Une odeur de cigarette froide horrible dans la chambre donnant la sensation au réveil d’avoir dîner un cendrier!!! Mécontentement annoncé à l accueil sans réponse commerciale particulière. Chambre réservée avec paiement sur place mais prélevée le matin de l’arrivée … apparement c’est normal pour eux, même si la CB enregistrée a la réservation n’est pas la bonne. Bref, cher pour l’intérieur malgré ce bâtiment magnifique

2ème séjour dans cet hôtel pour 3 nuits / chambres sont spacieuses, confortables, propres, la décoration sympa, le cadre (ancienne fac) est magnifique emplacement répond à nos attentes, pas de petit déjeuner pris, on eu les 2 chambres cote à cote comme demandé, très calme et petit "bémol" pour ce séjour le réveil le dimanche matin par l'alerte incendie
