とても立地が良くリヨンの街が一望でき且つ古代ローマ劇場後やフルヴィエールの丘も近く満足です。フロントの対応は大変礼儀正しいのですがフレンドリーでとても好感が持てました。５日間滞在したのですが施設内は清潔で気持ち良く過ごすことが出来ました。

This is an amazing property. They thought of everything you will not be disappointed

I booked this property for the pool, which did not disappoint. About 20 meters long with hot tub attached. Also had a steam room and full spa services(which I did not try). We ate light lunches at the bar and breakfasts in the small dining room. There are 3 very good restaurants adjacent - we tried fixed menu at two and were not disappointed - plus the views were very nice. (The third is Michelin Star rated). If you book, suggest you go for breakfast included as it is a bit pricey for the buffet. The staff was superb and extremely helpful, especially the concierge. This boutique hotel earns its 5 star rating. Only drawback was that Vieux Lyon was a steep walk about 15 min down hill. Maybe take taxi back if you have mobility issues.

I had a really great stay at Villa Maïa in Lyon. The hotel sits up on Fourvière Hill, so the views over the city are absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without feeling over the top. What stood out most was the staff—they were friendly, helpful, and made everything feel easy without being pushy. The spa area was a nice bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the breakfast was fresh and simple but really well done. The whole place has a calm, quiet atmosphere, which made it feel like a true escape from the busy parts of the city. Overall, it felt like a perfect mix of luxury and comfort without being pretentious. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lyon.

Hotel Villa Maïa offers a stunning view of Lyon and the river. The staff are warm, courteous, and genuinely friendly. Rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. It’s quiet at night, making it ideal for restful sleep. The train station is just a few minutes’ walk away, though there are no shops nearby. The hotel has an indoor pool and a gym. The downside is the surrounding area has no shops or eateries nearby.

Tout était parfait et le personnel très attentionné

Arrived late due to travel delays. Was able to have room service first night. Limited menu but nice. Had reserved City View room, see pictures for view advertised vs actual view. Room was nice and clean but as stay progressed housekeeping did not remove trash, replace water cups or restock mini bar. Never repaired latch on door as requested. Asked to replace dirty towels and bathrobes on 3rd day by putting in tub per instructional card. They just rehung the same dirty robes. Replaced only half the towels. While the hotel is further from the city it is nice and quiet. But honestly maybe not worth the addition cost or travel time. Staff very nice and professional.

The Staff from start to finish was amazing. Everyone we interacted with was above and beyond helpful and attentive to our needs. The level of hospitality they showed during our stay was some of the best we have experienced in the world. Next trip to Lyon we will not event think about staying anywhere else.

Villa Maia was absolutely outstanding. This is as all luxury hotels should be. From the bellman to the reception…flawless. How all the staff seems to remember your name as you come and go is amazing. We also give high praise to the concierge Francois who flawlessly and graciously welcomed us to Lyon and made all our dinner reservations! Merci to all!!!!

Not only is this place beautiful, it has a wonderful view of the city below. I can’t say enough about the stellar service and hospitality from the staff. I love this place and will return!

There’s nothing like a warm welcome and deeply curious staff, invested in their craft and your experience. We arrived to a beautiful hotel and a team that wanted to know about us, genuinely curious, led by the remarkable Francois who, once he learned that we were going to walk the Puy, shared an enthusiasm that was infectious. That the rooms are gorgeous is almost a given. They are. As are the pool and bar. Francois embodies grace. Wow.
