Our stay at the hotel in Garmisch was nothing short of exceptional. The location was perfectly situated, offering convenient access to the town while maintaining a peaceful and serene ambiance. The breakfast was truly outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to every palate. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, ensuring our every need was met with a smile. Every meal we enjoyed was a culinary delight, and the breathtaking views from the property added an extra layer of magic to our experience. This hotel exemplifies excellence in hospitality, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

The place is wonderful in every way! It is super clean, the proprietor is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the breakfast includes many types of foods, and the location is less than a 10 min walk to delicious restaurants. Best of all, the locale is really safe. I will go again on my next trip!

Wonderful experience

The owner of the hotel greeted us and explained everything we needed to do, and showed us to our room. He was there at breakfast to serve us. Very friendly.

The cleanliness and authentic German beauty of the place, as well as the friendly management.

Lovely BnB outside of town. We enjoyed the views, large room and breakfasts. Parking was difficult and had to walk about 10 mins into town for restaurants

Staff was very accommodating. Very clean rooms and grounds. Felt like I had privacy. I would stay there again!

The hosts were so kind and helpful! Breakfasts were amazing! Rooms are cleaned every day and the property is beautifully maintained. View from the room balcony was fabulous. Hosts go above and beyond expectations for hospitality. Their English speaking wS better than my German! I highly recommend thei Gaste Haus and will definitely stay there on my next trip! Location is perfect!

I liked the quiet neighborhood and close proximity to bus. Was very easy to get to Venice within 20 minutes. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional.

Das Gästehaus-Ehepaar war äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer sehr gemütlich und sauber, und auch beim Frühstück mangelte es an nichts. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden das Gästehaus Maria sicherlich wieder einmal buchen.

Gästehaus Maria was great. The owners are super helpful and very nice. They’re also knowledgeable about different things that Garmisch has. From hiking to animal farms for kids to the mountains.

Spacious room with comfortable beds and dining area (family room). Innkeeper’s were very helpful with local information and recommendations for dining, also for hiking and biking in the area. We enjoyed excellent breakfast in a sunny dining room with Mountain View’s, and a nap in a lovely backyard after activities.

Gastehaus Maria is great. Herr und Frau Thier are nice people and very helpful with whatever you want to do while visiting. Absolutely lovely hotel just minutes walking to downtown Garmisch.

In one word, excellent. Location is a few hundred meters away from the city center. Room, services, breakfast were really impeccable. Recommended
