Wir waren auf der Durchreise für 1 Nacht im Hotel Blaue Gams. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Unser Zimmer war zwar klein aber sehr gemütlich. Für 1 Nacht passte es. Das FrühstücksBuffet war sehr gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr gut. Auf jeden Fall dort essen und nicht wo anders hin gehen.

We just had an overnight stop here on our way to Austria. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the village and nearby monestry. The view down the valley is fantastic. The room was very clean and the restaurant served a good selection of Bavarian food. Parking was good and the village only a short walk away. The chimes of the monestry clock every 15minutes might not be to everyone’s liking but certainly adds to the alpine atmosphere.

Lå veldig fint til med natur rundt seg. Hyggelige mennesker som jobbet der.

We LOVED this place! Great location in a very cute village, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Some very nice hiking trails in the area as well.

Fremragende restaurant

The hotel welcomed us after a same-day reservation due to an issue with another hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The apple strudel and breakfast were delicious. It was raining, but if the weather had cleared, our view would have been wonderful! Hope to return!

Modern updates in a rustic looking hotel. Very quiet, clean and the food was delicious. Fabulous Swabien breakfast, luscious wine offerings with tasty dinner. Would highly recommend staying here.

Nice typical german hotel next to the famous monastery, clean room with good sturdy beds. A little too pricey for the value but sufficient. We had a good stay here

Great location overlooking Ettal. Nicely furnished rooms, a solid breakfast offering, and a nice outdoor area. The restaurant was closed for a renovation, so did not get an opportunity to experience it.

Unterkunft sehr schön gelegen. Allerdings hatten wir ein sehr kleines Zimmer im DG mit entsprechender Dachschräge. Für eine Nacht war das Zimmer ok - aber einen längeren Urlaub wollten wir hier nicht verbringen. Das Zimmer war neu renoviert und ansprechend gestaltet, die Betten war sehr bequem. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war köstlich.

Perfect breakfast and friendly helpful staff! Amazing views from the large balcony!!!! The area is magical! Our room was smaller than we expected based on the website photos.

Lo que más nos gustó fue la vista de la habitación, la temperatura estaba perfecta aunque el baño algo pequeño. Mala la información sobre horario de la misa en el Claustro. Y el parqueadero se queda pequeño a veces. El desayuno estupendo!

Es war ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub.

Selten bin ich so unfreundlich empfangen worden. Wir hatten eine sehr sehr lange Anreise und eine freundliche Begrüßung wie ein "Willkommen" wäre Standard gewesen. Stattdessen wurden wir von einer genervten Mitarbeiterin eingewiesen, wo die Zimmer seien, da wir ja zum ersten Mal da seien. Ich hatte vorher einen Tisch zum Abendessen reserviert, auf meine Nachfrage wurde mitgeteilt, dass diese Bitte weitergeleitet wurde an das Restaurant.. eine sehr grimmige Begrüßung insgesamt, die während des Aufenthalts nicht besser wurde. DAS kenne ich anders in anderen Hotels.
