Horror. Eiskaltes Zimmer-Heizung würde vergessen aufzudrehen, anstatt sich zu entschuldigen wurde vorgeworfen die Heizung war an.kommunikation am front desk katastrophal. Nie wieder.

Would have been perfect if not for the strong smell of sewerage emitting from our bathroom. Luckilly we were able to close the door and open the windows to the bedroom so that we could sleep. We brought the smell to the attention of the person checking everyone out however she didn't seem to understand what we were saying... mostly becausd of the language barrier. Aside from that the place was beautiful and the meal in the restaurant was wonderful. Location is also perfect for spending a day too exploring. We would stay again provided the smell is gone.

Got a single key card at check-in even though we were two guests. No other information than a wish for a good stay. Breakfast was a la carte which sounds better than it is. Got a plate of sliced sausages, cheese and jam and a basket of rolls. Then you ordered everything else, such as porridge, juice, milk, scrambled eggs, bacon etc. Not exactly worth 26 euros. The fixed hairdryer in our room was broken. This despite the hotel stating that they go through the rooms every day. No portable hairdryer to borrow. The cleaning lady, who was not exactly helpful, sighed and groaned but finally opened another room where the hairdryer could be used. A new hairdryer was installed but this also stopped working. When we asked at the reception it turned out that there was a fault in the electrical installation. However, this was not something we were informed about. The bathroom smelled of sewage. When you stepped into the shower cubicle you realised that it was coming from the floor drain. Today's standard is three different containers of shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, but here there was only one container. We expected our room to be cleaned but it didn't happen. Went to reception and they asked if we had put up the sign. Sign? It turned out that there was a sign to put up if you wanted the room cleaned. According to them, the cleaning lady had noticed that we had put up this sign but with the "Do Not Disturb" side facing out. However, we hadn't put up any sign at all?!?

Underground garage for larger cars is some way off and not connected to the hotel by a lift. Receptionist was fine but the restaurant staff were young, ill -trained. Dinner was good but there were only 2 desserts, neither of which we liked. Location is super, right in the old city and just a few minutes away from the palace.

Everything was great! Wish it had A/C.

Hotel mit altwürdigem Charme direkt in der Innenstadt unweit vom Schloss. Super Restaurant und Weinbistro. Hier fühlt man sich zu Hause.

I was surprised with the lack of cleanliness for a hotel that was almost 400/night. I had to spend the first 40 minutes of our stay to undue the bed as the bed sheet was tucked in. As I went to fix it I noticed the amount of hair/dog hair/other fluff etc underneath the sheet on the mattress cover. It was absolutely disgusting. Once I removed all of that using an entire lint roller we settled in. There was no dog bowl or anything provided in the room even though they are pet friendly and you are charged extra for the dog. The doorway to balcony was also defunct and wouldn’t close at times. The receptionist always seemed bothered by us initiating any convo when we had questions. She seemed annoyed. The breakfast that was I believe was almost 40 dollars was extremely underwhelming. We were given 3 tiny buns and 2/3 half slices of bread, a few small slices of cheese and salami. Just very small. Not fulfilling. And again we felt bothersome when requesting more buns or cheese. Parking is also a disaster. You need to almost go around the block to park in a garage but you need to borrow a key from the receptionist who again just is annoyed to see you lol. I would not return here.

Ein schönes Hotel in der Altstadt von Schwerin. Nette Weinstube mit erstklassigem Essen

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und einladend! Schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang vom Balkon aus. Das Restaurant "The George" serviert ein köstliches Abendessen und das vom Hotel angebotene Frühstück ist sicherlich köstlich. Ich kann das Weinhaus Uhle sehr empfehlen. Außerdem war es ein sehr schöner und einfacher Spaziergang zum Schloss Shwerin. In der Nähe gibt es so viele wunderbare Geschäfte, darunter ein Teeladen direkt gegenüber und ein Geschäft für Vintage-Kleidung im Block gegenüber vom Teeladen.

Virkelig hyggeligt sted i gammel historisk bygning. Meget serviceminded og imødekommende personale, der dog virker til at have mange bolde i luften. Beliggenheden er i top i forhold til bymidten. Kan helt sikkert anbefales.

Das Weinhaus Uhle in Schwerin punktet mit seiner hervorragenden Lage mitten in der Stadt, gleichzeitig ist es schön ruhig. Die Betten sind super bequem und die Zimmer angenehm groß, was den Aufenthalt wirklich komfortabel macht. Ein Pluspunkt ist auch der faire Preis für die Tiefgarage, was in so einer zentralen Lage nicht selbstverständlich ist. Leider gab es ein paar kleinere Mängel: Unser Zimmer hatte wohl kürzlich einen Wasserschaden, der noch nicht vollständig behoben war. Außerdem entdeckten wir zwei Silberfische und ein paar schwarze Stellen in der Dusche. Nichts Dramatisches, aber hier könnte noch etwas mehr auf die Pflege geachtet werden. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt mit kleinen Abstrichen – ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen!

Ich war selten in einem so schönen Hotel. Toll eingerichtet, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Frühstück und Abendessen waren wirklich sehr gut. Das Personal im Service ist sehr bemüht und an der Rezeption kann man alles unkompliziert und superfreundlich regeln. DANKE

Pris og kvalitet/service matcher ikke. At betale den pris for et simpelt ikke særlig stilfuldt værelse var det ikke værd.

Super lækkert og fantastisk beliggenhed lige i centrum. Det kan anbefales.

Godt beliggende, godt lille hotel.

flott vinhus med en nydelig frokost. eneste nedturen med besøket var at det ikke var AC i rommet med 29 grader ute.
