The property is beautiful. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the center but be careful because the road is very narrow. It’s extremely challenging if you encounter another vehicle from the opposite direction. The amenities are lacking. Food and snack options are extremely limited and that’s a problem when the hotel has nothing near by you can walk to. They offer no snacks no lunch options. The breakfast was disappointing and the dinner menu was extremely small that’s why we opted to eat out. Our room had no fridge which was disappointing especially because when booking it stated otherwise. Other than that the hotel itself is very peaceful and beautiful. It is a family run hotel. The family was very kind.

Timeless location amid olive groves, spectacular mountains. Family-run with great warmth and care. Different dinner options each night they aim to please guest palates. Rooms are lushly appointed with super comfy beds. Don’t miss this very special setting and restful experience.

Our stay was simply excellent. The hotel managers, the details and the beauty and syle of the place are amazing. The only thing we did not like was the price of the drinks in the pool. Is good to have a menu to see prices before;)

Perfekt!

This has genuinely been one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have wished for more. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had perfect water pressure, breakfast was an utter delight (presentation and quality of the food is top notch), and the pool has the most perfect views and great water temperature (not to warm not too cold). Views from the hotel were incredible and the atmosphere is very very special. In the evening we enjoyed sitting under fairy lights on the terrace listening to the cicadas while enjoying some drinks. Simply phenomenal!! The highlight will have to be Pierre and Antigone who run the hotel. They are the loveliest people, really want to make your holidays special (they both learned hospitality in Switzerland and you can tell) and have great chat. Only downside was that Lola, the adorable little Dachshund, did not pay us as much attention as we would have liked but I think that’s ok in the grand scheme of things 😉 We will definitely be back!

Wow. What a welcoming and what a hotel. This tranquil place can be your secret paradise to relax or your base to explore Lakonia one of the most beautiful areas in Greece. The hotel area, history, room, hosts and breakfast were simply amazing. I would love to come back to the hotel and the area.

It was breathtaking in every way. Despite being a new hotel you feel like you are in a 400 year old property, it’s architecture is reminiscent of castles with the stone exteriors blending with the surrounding hills that are laden with olive groves, and the mountains in the distance. Our room was beautifully appointed for views, peace and comfort. The furnishings are stylish and high quality from the comfy bed and pristine linens to the luxury oversized bath robes. We ate dinner there on our first night, excellent. Breakfast was wonderful, we still think of the homemade preserves, the donuts and the coffee. Our hosts were fabulous, attentive but discreet, friendly and genuine in their desire to ensure we had great days out. Every restaurant recommendation was spot on, and they helped us select the best sight seeing spots. We originally had plans to do long day trips across the Peloponnese but when we walked into the Alistos we saw an opportunity to relax and absorb the scenery and more immediate areas. Gytheio was a wonderful town for the evenings, €10 taxi fare each way so that you can enjoy the ouzo and the fantastic Greek wines :-) We’ve traveled all across Europe over many years, and after each trip we start thinking about where to go next. This hotel turned us a bit on our head because from the moment we walked onto the property and even now we have got back home we are thinking about how to return and e

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's located on a small mountain and has very nice views. The decoration is gorgeous. The room very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Super comfortable bed, luxurious linens and a great shower. The owners are super friendly and helpful. They gave us great recommendations and were so welcoming. Breakfast very tasty. We had a great time in this hotel, and we highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the Mani peninsula area. Can't wait to come back there!
