Everything about this property says luxury and quiet indulgence. Set away from the town by a lovely 5-10 minute walk, it’s away from the crowds and noise of beach taverna but still well and easily within reach. There is a supermarket across the street, two bakeries 1 minute walk away, and plenty more a 5-10 minute easy and lovely walk. The beach is across the street maybe a 3-5 minute leisurely walk. It is on the main road so sitting outside you can hear traffic, though inside you hear nothing. It didn’t bother us, just something to be aware of. Also the pool in the suite is very cold. The room itself is understated without austerity, clean without sterility- a perfect end to a glorious beach day or exploring hiking trails within walking distance! The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great, keeping us quite cool in the evenings and making our sleep some of the most restful we’ve experienced. The breakfast was a major highlight- try the Cretan and the Cretan bowl! Without fault and always served with the classic Greek sense of quiet hospitality. The staff was next level. Helpful and friendly, they really went the extra mile, helping my husband and myself plan a cooking class, a massage, or whatever we wanted. There is so much nearby to do we were never bored. There is even a nice little fitness room with dumbbells, a treadmill, and a bench! We stayed 10 nights and it was perfect from start to finish. I can’t recommend Amente mindful stay enough and we will be back!

Such an amazing stay at this property, was lovely so clean and the rooms were beautifully laid out. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating couldn’t rate highly enough if you want a relaxing break.. thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay here in Crete. The hotel has a beautiful jungle-inspired design with a clean, modern aesthetic that feels both relaxing and luxurious. Our room had an ocean view, although there is a parking lot below. The location was very convenient, with a supermarket directly across the street and a bakery right next door. It’s also only about a 10-minute walk to town, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and shops. One of the highlights was the breakfast served in our room. It was delicious, generous, and very reasonably priced for the quality and convenience. A helpful tip: if you’re arriving late, be sure to contact the hotel in advance, as the reception desk closes at 8 PM. Overall, a beautiful property in a great location. We would happily stay here again.
