I stayed here for a week and I would rate it as the worst resort I have ever stayed in. Beach was bad , ocean too rough, and only one beach bar for entire beach and it was bad service.

Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel. Allerdings war die Liegensituation katastrophal. Wir haben erst am 4. Tag Liegen am Pool bekommen. Zudem gab es sehr lange Warteschlangen im Hauptrestaurant. Das Hotel sollte weniger Hotelgäste aufnehmen.

Fantastic place for kids and families

The hotel was beautiful and staff very nice. Very clean! Beach was not great especially for kids. Very rocky and we couldn’t swim. Also, water park and pool were great but closed so early. Because the beach was not great we traveled to Other beaches and wish we couldv’e come back to swim at hotel but the water park closed at 6pm and Pool at 7pm. As great as everything else was, this really killed the hotel experience for us!

Fantastisk sted å være med barn. Vennlig personale, men de som jobbet i resepsjonen kunne vært litt blidere. Hotellet og dets fasiliteter var veldig bra, men famillierommet tilsvarer ikke 5 stjerner, inventar var slitt og det var lite knagger og hyller å legge ting på.

The hotel is beautiful, public spaces are not modern but very well kept, outdoor areas are beautiful with plenty of open space for the kids to run around. We had 2 classic double rooms and one 2BR Mythika suite, the classic rooms were OK, decent size, in good condition but could use some refreshing. The Mythika suite was amazing, spacious, renovated, cleaned a few times through the day and included tasty goodies (fruits, wine, etc). Mythika guests receive private beach seating, benefits at restaurants (which we didn't use as are our party were not entitled) and free late check-out up to 6PM! (which was fantastic as our flight was late). Beach and pools are very cozy, there's a shortage of sunbeds in the big pool but we managed. Parts we liked less: The water park, it's in all the hotel pictures on Expedia, and the hotel's FB an IG pages advertised the new park set to open in the beginning of the season. Unfortunately the park wasn't ready, it's set to open soon and we weren't offered an alternative. Other points: Hotel has lots of stairs, there are some elevators but they are small and slow. AC in the rooms works only in the afternoons, problematic in hot days and during the night (hotel could only offer a rattily noisy fan as a solution). Apart from the beautiful kids club we found the animation schedule a bit lacking. And finally, some of the staff are not as friendly as you'd expect for a 5* resort, we found ourselves having to "nudge" some of them into helping at times.

Overall very good hotel and worth to stay there. The staff is super super polite with a nice smile everywhere, from top to bottom. The beach is nice, open to the north winds. Food is acceptable standard hotel buffet with variety of foods (although no Cretan foods or delicacies at the part of the buffer we were using). There are two sections building-wise, a renovated section and an old section. The sea-view bungalow we had this time was at the old section, 80s style, and definitely not worth 230-250 euros/night, with sea-view obstructed a lot by the front line bungalows. In the past we stayed at a cheaper, standard sea-view renovated room, main building section, which was better value for money than the more expensive bungalow(s).

Avant notre arrivée j’ai signalé que mon fils était en fauteuil roulant car il a du se faire opérer en urgence de la hanche. Ils m’ont gentiment répondu qu’ils mettaient tout en place pour notre confort et on s’est retrouvé dans une chambre au deuxième étage avec un ascenseur pas du tout aux normes handicapés pour un fauteuil roulant puisqu’il ne pouvait pas rentrer tout seul dedans il fallait ouvrir une porte battante pour rentrer et l’ascenseur faisait à peine la largeur du fauteuil donc impossible pour mon fils de rentrer tout seul dedans sinon il se coinçait les doigts. Nous avons donc fait par de notre mécontentement concernant cette chambre pas du tout adaptée ni pour y accéder en ascenseur ni pour aller dans la douche car il y avait une marche pour aller dans la salle de bain et aussi pour rentrer dans la douche et de plus pas de porte de douche donc de l’eau partout devant et un sol glissant. Ils nous ont donc mis dans un bungalow parfaitement adapté de plein pieds et une baignoire avec poignée et un rideau pour ne pas mouiller le sol En contre partie nous avons payé 1300€ supp après avoir négocié près d’une heure car au départ ils nous demandaient 1900€. Nous étions avec des amis qui ont aussi réservés sur votre site internet et qui ont eu un bungalow donc surclassés mais sans payer de surplus. Nous avons trouvé ce principe pas très commerçant de leur part surtout que nous étions 11 personnes en tout inclus. J’attends votre réponse merci

We recently stayed at this hotel with our kids and appreciated how family-friendly it is. There are several shallow pools, which are great for young children, making it a fun place for families. However, our room was disappointing—it wasn’t new and had a noticeable smell of mold. The hotel offered to move us to another room, but it would have been a downgrade, and unfortunately, the musty smell was still present, even though the staff didn’t agree with our concern. In the end, we decided to stay in our original room. Other than that issue, it’s generally a good hotel, especially for families with kids, but the room situation was a bit of a letdown.

This hotel has nothing to do with 5 stars hotel it is very very old the rooms are very tight the twin bed is actually a single bed the area is not classy the beach is rocky and not safe to swim the rooms are not clean and full of ants not worth any penny

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und jeder findet einen Platz für seine Erholung. Wenig deutsche Gäste, was aber nicht störend ist. Die Bäder könnten teilweise renoviert werden. Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel mit vielen Freizeitangeboten!

Alt und heruntergekommen Große Steine im Wasser, schlecht zum Baden. Ab 10 uhr keine Liegen mehr frei.

I like all in the hotel

Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Am Anfang war es wirklich erholsam aber je mehr Urlauber kamen desto schlimmer würde es. Das Personal würde nachlässig und verlor den Überblick. Das Frühstück glich am Ende nur noch einem Spiessrufhenlaufen und war Stress pur. Das erst 2 Drittel der Zeit waren Liegen kein Problem am Strand aber am Ende ein echtes Chaos. Vor allem kamen dann Urlauber die morgens vor dem Frühstück ihre Liegen reservierten und dann erst gegen Abend kamen oder noch besser waren die (keine Ausnahme) wo die ganze Familie kam und jedes Familienmitglied belegte einen Schirm mit 2 Liegen. Hier wäre das Hotel gefragt gewesen. Hier werde ich sicher nicht mehr hin gehen. Da braucht man kein Genie zu sein um sich auszurechnen das nicht genug Platz war. Außerdem fand ich extrem störend das von Leuten mit Kindern die Erwachsenenbereichen ignoriert wurden. Nichts gegen Kinder aber ich will nicht permanent Kindergeschrei wenn ich extra in die ausgewiesene Adults only Atea gehe. Unverschämt sind die Preise der Strandbar , des eigenen Supermarktes, der Boutique und der Lokale im Hotel. Da werden ja die Betreiber vom Oktoberfest noch neidisch. Zimmer sauber aber sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Auf jeden Fall keine 5 Sterne. Ich ziehe für mich das Fazit einmal und nie wieder.

Although the resort was clean and amenities were great, the strong smell of bug poison was constantly present in the hallways. Further, while staff was polite, they don't make you feel very welcome.main restourant manager was quite rude and reception desk clerks are cold and unwelcoming.overall I would not recommend because of customer service.
