オモニア駅にほぼ直結で地下鉄での移動は便利。徒歩でアクロポリス、中央市場にも行けるので主な観光には便利。オモニア駅はガイドブックなどでも危険なエリアとあったが、特に危ない目には合わなかったが、シンタグマ周辺などと比較すると街の雰囲気はよくないかはする。地下鉄の駅に近い分移動は便利だし、観光にも便利なので警戒しすぎなくても過ごせるが、注意をするべきエリアではある。ホテルのフロントには水とシャンパンが用意されていて自由に飲める。チェックインした日は予約した部屋が用意できないと言われたが翌日から変更してもらえた。部屋には水、スリッパ、ガウン、シャンプー、コンディショナー、シャワージェル、ボディークリーム、歯ブラシ、石鹸、体を洗うスポンジ、コットンと綿棒などもありアメニティは充実している。ネスプレッソマシンも置いてある。ドライヤーはあったが、ポットはリクエストしないと部屋にはない。セーフティボックスも付いている。冷蔵庫はペットボトルが数本入るレベル。 部屋は広く湯船もありゆっくりできた。朝食はルーフトップのレストランで食べられ、バルコニーに出るとパルテノンさんでも見える。メニューも野菜、果物、ハムやチーズ、ヨーグルトなど充実していてシャンパンも置いてある。オレンジジューと割ってミモザを飲んでいる人も結構いた。最終日の夜ハーフトップレストランを予約してライトアップされたパルテノン神殿を見ながらギリシャワインと料理でアテネを満喫できた。

The rooms are far too small and it’s not what it looks like on the booking at all, also when checking in you have to wait for ages which is the last thing you need after travelling all day. I will say though the rooftop is amazing and the service from the waiters were amazing.

Convenient location. Room AC temperature couldn’t go low enough for my sleeping comfort.

After very early flight from the United States, we were able to still check in a little earlier because hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We were able to get early morning van arranged by the Hotel Check in was easy and friendly. Free water, 2 room accommodations for our teens, and champagne topping it. We would stay again.

The hotel is centrally located right at the Omonia Square with each access to metro and bus lines. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was unexpectedly small, to the point that it was hard to move around with only two carry-on suitcases. It’s OK if you are just a tourist not planning to stay in the room and use it only to sleep for a night.

Lovely hotel and nice location right next to the metro, making it easily accessible to all the attractions.

Advantage, location is great ,clean, friendly staff. Disadvantage, AC in whole hotel rooms is sit in universal temperature so you cant adjust the temperature according to what you prefer which is a big Disadvantage for me .

Wonderful mid-century modern decor, great rooftop bar and restaurant (with hot tubs, view of the Acropolis and other Athens sites, and GREAT food/drinks!), nice gym, hot tub/sauna/steam room (private reservations available), and wonderful staff (especially at the restaurant/bar! I didn't want to go home!

We thought we had found a nice hotel, but were badly surprised. The pictures from the website looked promising, but the room (1) was a bit worn down and the toilet door was broken and hanging only in one of three hinges. We told the reception and got another room (2). In this room the toilet door was moisture damaged, and we wondered what “newly renovated”, meant. After a noisy night, hearing “Ding, car A”, “Ding, car B”, we asked for a room away from the elevator. This time we got a nice room (3), which even looked renovated, so far so good. But…..The next morning the bed was full of tiny bed bugs, crawling all over the sheets. We told the reception and they promised to take care of it. When we came back late afternoon, nothing had been done, but changed sheets. Bugs everywhere, it was horrible! A cleaning lady became very upset, when she saw the beetles and started calling and texting. We were told to leave everything and go to a new room (4). “Don’t worry, it happens all the time” said the hotel porter “Welcome to Greece”. We got an apology from the reception and an offer for a free dinner. Next day, the Hotel Manager tried to belittle the bugs and even had the audacity to insinuate that we had brought the bugs with us on the plane! She just forgot the fact, that we had already stayed in two other rooms, with no bugs, so this was needless and pathetic and only showed lack of responsibility. Nonetheless, all our clothes were sent to cleaning at the expense of the hotel.

Location is excellent. Right by a metro station (perfect for getting to and from the airport) and walking distance to many sites such as the Monastiraki, the Acropolis, Syntagma Square and many, many more. Amenities are very good and include a gym, rooftop (Acropolis-view) diningnand free WiFi. The only negative mark I'd give the Brown Acropol are towards its staff. They come across snooty and only do the bare minimum when it comes to customer service. Their bellboy was rude. I stayed there a week for business and didn't see a single one of them smile during my entire stay. However, their cleaning staff were helpful and friendly. Probably would not stay at the Brown Acropol again as there were several other options in the area.

Lots of people walking outside but there were two guards at the hotel entrance. Elevator is a bit challenging. About 15 minute walk from Monastiraki

Godt hotel, medium service. Flot design og gode værelser, fint sted i byen og god pris. Personale ikke i top, der var en del mangler. Vil gerne bo der igen.
