ドリアン ホテル

Séjour en couple pour trois nuits, l'hôtel est très bien situé, la responsable est une personne charmante et très bienveillante.

L'unica critica che ho su questa struttura è che nonostante la prenotazione fosse stata fatta correttamente per il 17 agosto (check in) la titolare dell'hotel si era sbagliata ed aveva prenotato la camera per il 18 agosto (check out 19). E' la prima volta che con Expedia mi trovo in una situazione simile. Comunque devo dire che la signora in 10 minuti ha risolto il problema trovando una camera in ottimo hotel a poche decine di metri dal Dorian, con upgrade, senza alcun sovraprezzo per me, incluso il breakfast. Devo riconoscere che la risoluzione del problema è arrivata in 10 minuti, forse meno. Considerato il periodo di vacanze devo dire che sono stato molto fortunato a trovare una camera a pochi metri dal Dorian.

Το κατάλυμα είναι όμορφο σε πολύ καλό σημείο και με πολύ ωραία θέα προς το λιμάνι της Σύμης. Οι χώροι είναι προσεγμένοι, διακοσμημένοι σε κλασσικό νησιωτικό στυλ και πολύ καθαροί. Το μπάνιο είναι λίγο μικρό, το υπνοδωμάτιο είναι άνετο και βρίσκεται στο πάνω μέρος του σπιτιού. Η κ. Φωτεινή είναι πολύ ευγενική, φιλική και έτοιμη να βοηθήσει σε ότι χρειαστεί. Συνολικά πολύ όμορφη εμπειρία!!!

A lovely studio apartment, 10 minutes walk from the centre of Symi Town

Hotel confortevole e curato situato nella zona tranquilla della baia del porto di Symi. La signora molto disponibile e attenta alle varie necessità. Ci hanno fatto trovare anche caffè e qualcosa per la colazione, oltre ad offrirci una cassa d'acqua. Consigliatissimo.

Perfect location, beautiful view and very friendly

We showed up on the evening ferry from Rhodes after being on a sailing Gulet in Turkey (no internet). Were met by the owner of the hotel and her son. She never used our name but asked if we were the people that had booked on Expedia. Nothing was explained and we were led, in the dark, up to a house on the hill. When we got there there was another person there who was introduced as the owner of the house and that we were staying here for 3 nights (we had 4 nights booked) When I asked why the owner of the hotel said she had been trying to call us that day and had left numerous messages (which by the way we never got) but they had basically given our room to someone else. We had no choice but to stay in the house as it was now close to 10pm at night and there was no way to leave the island. When I queried the 4th night she claimed it was never booked (I later found out that they had cancelled that through Expedia a few days before but we didn't know as we didn't have internet in Turkey)The house they left us in looked like no-one had been in it for ages, completely bereft of any comfort items or even pictures on the wall. One of the couches had a plain white sheet and a bed pillow on it (no cover). There were ants crawling all over the sachets of dried up old Nescafe coffee and honey, the shower was broken, the toilet seat was barely hanging in there. It was dark and creepy. She didn't even want to give us a contact number or a chance to sort out the booking issue the next day.

Firstly the studio I was given did not match the photos in any way, nor did I receive much welcome. I was checked in by a 16yr old boy who just put the case inside.The front door didn't lock. The fridge leaked & I slipped on the wet floor. The wi fi was patchy. The owner asked if I was afraid to leave the (unlockabe) door open (as if I had a problem.) Similar response when I asked for tea and fresh milk rather than tiny packets of long life milk she gave to me. I offered to buy milk & she looked disgusted. She didn't tell me the water was unsafe to drink and left no safe water in the fridge. She didn't offer to clean the water in the fridge or the wet mat. I later cleaned the fridge and noticed black mould on the shelves. I had a shower and the floor was so slippery I skidded. There was no bath mat to stand on and the tiles were slippery. I had 2 cups of tea with unboiled water and then wondered if it was safe so I asked locals who said absolutely not! Then I began to worry! My stomach the next day was sore and tender but responded to prebiotic tablets. I asked the cleaner for safe water and she said no. She also said she will fix the fridge when I leave. When I mime angry and sore stomach and tap water she came back with 3 bottles of water. It's two days too late!!

Υπέροχη ιδιοκτήτρια, πολυ όμορφο και άνετο δωμάτιο. Καθαρό με καταπληκτική φιλοξενία απο την ιδιοκτήτρια! Πέντε λεπτά απο το λιμάνι και τα μαγαζιά, εστιατόρια και μπαρ!

Little Gem in Symi with very helpful hostess!!!

Κρεβάτι πολύ μικρό πολύ κοντό πολύ στενό δεν υπάρχει μπαλκόνι δεν έχεις θέα ειναι σαν υπόγειο το δωμάτιο και το πρωινό ηταν τυρόπιτα η κουλούρι η ψωμί γενικά ηταν καθαρά και ήσυχα και πολύ βολική η τοποθεσία δεν θα ξαναπηγαίναμε πάντως στο συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο αν ξανά επισκεπτόμασταν τη συμη

Dorian Hotel på Symi ligger op af 72 trappetrin - nogle ret stejle - fra havnefronten. Der er stor forskel på studios. Nogle ligger klemt inde uden udsigt. Et sådant fik jeg. Værtinden Fortini var meget imødekommende, snakkesaglig, god til engelsk og kom forbi 2 gange om dagen. Morgenmaden: værtinden spurgte, hvad jeg ønskede. Betuttet sagde jeg brød og yoghurt. Ret pauvert ønske. Hun kunne blot komme med god morgenmad hver dag. Fra værelser med balkon var fantastisk udsigt.

Location is perfect and the views from the terrace are amazingly beautiful. The sun shines to the terrace until 2pm and later in the evening so it's perfect to have breakfast and lunch enjoying the views and the sun at the hotel. Service was excellent and they we're really nice helping us to organize our tours in Symi although the tourist season hadn't really started yet. The breakfast good and the apartment was kept clean every day.

Wir sind mit der Fähre aus Rhodos angekommen und wurden von der netten Betreiberin Fotini abgeholt. Das Hotel ist nur ein paar Meter von der Fähre entfernt, allerdings muss man eine steile Treppe steigen. Nichts Dramatisches, außer der Koffer ist mal wieder überfüllt. Dafür ist der Blick toller. Das Hotel hat 4 Zimmer, eins davon mit Balkon, und kleine Terrassen auf jeder Ebene, also genug Platz zum draußen sitzen. We arrived by ferry from Rhodos and were picked up by the nice host Fotini. The hotel is just a few steps away from the ferry, but in order to enjoy the view you have to climb up some stairs. So don't overpack your suitcase! The hotel has 4 rooms, one of them with a balcony, and small terrasses on each level for the others, so plenty of space to sit outside.

The Dorian is well located for enjoying the beautiful town at similar.

Väldigt fina och mysiga rum, trevligt personal, avslappnat a la Symi! Ända tråkiga var badrummen som var väldigt små, a la Grekland :)
