We had a lovely 6 nights at Golden sun. The staff are incredibly friendly and will do anything for you. Pool area nice and rooms were cleaned daily apart from Sunday. Rooms could do with abit of an upgrade but still had everything we needed. Also great location.

Wonderful family run apartments. Only 15 apartments so never too busy. ²Pool was lovely with beautiful views of the mountains, Spotlessly clean with a lovely Cafe serving good fresh food. We had a wonderful 9 days in Golden Sun. George, Chrissy and the rest of the family could not do enough for us. Apartments were spacious and clean with views over the salt lakes and ocean beyond. Perfectly located only a short walk from the main street with its bars and restraunts and the lovely beach. We will be back soon

Simple yet clean accommodations at a great price with a nice swimming pool and short walk to beach or main shopping/dining strip and bus stop. As long as you don't expect 5-star amenities at 1- to 2-star prices, you should be more than satisfied.

Super locatie, rustig maar toch centraal! Heel vriendelijke, behulpzame familie welke de appartementen runnen. Basic grieks appartement, what you see is what you get. Keukeninrichting is wel heel minimaal als je zelf zou willen koken. (Maar daar is het griekse eten toch veels te lekker voor ;) ) De bedden waren wel erg hard, als je daar gevoelig voor bent is het geen aanrader. Maar wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad!

Friendly owners. Rooms need modernising as very tired and a little scruffy. Some issues with mosquitoes.

Great stay and good location but be aware that if you are 4 guests, you will be asked to pay extra for 4th person on arrival. And if you require to use the air conditioning, you will be asked to pay extra per day on arrival.

Super verblijf in golden sun. Leuk Familie bedrijf ze doen alles voor je en zijn heel vriendelijk . Kamers zijn wat verouderd maar schoon deze zijn en gaan ze langzaam opknappen. Zwembad keuken en bar is top. Regelde zelf ons prive tranfer Van vliegveld naar hotel en naar het volgende hotel. Communicatie via mail was ook super.

What a fantastic stay at Golden Sun Apartments! From booking and the great communication with George, to the food at the snack bar, and our lovely 2 bed apartment. This is the perfect location. Gorgeous pool. Nice and quiet. A very short (5mins or less) walk to the main strip. Bars and reataurants in abundance and only another few minutes walk to the beach. I'm already looking to book again!

Sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeber, jeden Tag Zimmerreinigung und frische Handtücher. Ruhige Lage und ein kleiner, dafür aber nicht überlaufener Pool - ein Ort zum abschalten!

Leider sind die Räumlichkeiten sehr hellhörig und morgens wird man schon gegen 5 Uhr von den krähenden Hähnen aus der Nachbarschaft geweckt,so daß an ein wirkliches Ausschlafen nicht zu denken ist.

Το μαναδικο καταλυμα που εχουμε μεινει οπου οι πινακες διακοσμησης δεν ηταν απο εκτυπωση αλλα πραγματικες ακουαρελες απο το χομπυ του Γιωργου και των φιλων του. Ωραια αισθηση νσ εχεις πανω απο το κρεβατι κατι χειροποιητο και να γνωριζεις και τον δημιουργο του. Φιλικο περιβαλλον του κου Γιαννη και του Γιωργου, πολυ δροσερο, μεγαλοι χωροι, οικονομικο καλη θεση κεντρικα της Κω για οσους θελουν να γυρισουν το νησι

Posizione ottimale,ovviamente per visitare l'isola si consiglia di noleggiare un'auto,l'isola merita d'essere visitata in ogni angolo!!!

Ottima stanza, essenziale ma con tutto quello che occorre. Bagno con doccia, ingresso con angolo cucina (dotato di lavello, 2 fornelli elettrici, stoviglie), due stanze matrimoniali e balcone. Nonostante fossimo in due ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Per quanto ci riguarda l'abbiamo solo usata come base per la notte. Personale gentile e non invadente, stanza pulita e letto fatto tutti i giorni (tranne la domenica)

I stayed at The Golden Sun for two weeks in late July with my elderly dad. The apartments are run by a family who were friendly and helpful. We had a two bedroom apartment which was large and nicely furnished. There was plenty of cupboard space for clothes, a dressing table and TV in the main bedroom. The second bedroom was simpler and smaller, ideal for children. The kitchen area was clean and new looking, the usual two ring 'hob', a kettle and a full size fridge. There were plenty of plates, mugs, pots and pans etc The apartment was cleaned (thoroughly-using a Hoover!) every day and beds/towels changed twice a week. There was constant hot water and-a powerful shower. In addition to the usual shutters, there were mosquito nets on the windows and balcony doors-this was excellent as there were millions of mozzies around! During our stay there was a nice mix of nationalities and ages. These apartments seemed to attract quieter guests, who want to sit by the pool, have a swim or use the apartments as a base for the beach (10 min walk) or for exploring the island. While we were there, there were no screaming children jumping in and out of the pool or loud groups of people 'taking over'. A final word about the pool, it was very clean and already warm when I had my swim at 8.30 every morning-lovely! So, all in all, we were very impressed!

The owner of the hotel was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is nice and cleaned every day. The food served at the pool bar was very good. I do recommend staying there.
