Supersöta ägare. Hjälpte oss med allt och var jätte trevliga. Även najs att de städade varje dag i rummen. Enda minuset var att det inte är något riktigt kök, så vi kunde inte laga mat. Men den får 5 sjärnor ändå.

This was by the worst place ive stayed the owner is the lowest rudest obnoxious discracful human in the planet. Caught his twice breaking into room he abused me for drying my shirt on my balcony. He glad raps everything such as the cooler control so you can’t adjust the temp he abused me because I had wet towel in the bathroom then he kicked us out we had no idea why. By far the worst experience I’ve had. Never ever stay here

Non abbiamo avuto particolari esperienze negative nel nostro breve soggiorno di 3 notti presso la struttura, tuttavia la camera e il bagno erano davvero molto piccoli, gestire gli spazi era molto difficile essendo in 2 in camera. L'ambiente era pulito e il titolare è sempre stato molto cortese con noi

Awesome hotel near the port. Owners are extremely nice and welcoming. They go out of their way to accommodate your every need. Walk to the town is around 15 minutes of very steep stairs.

The owners of the property are lovely! We really enjoyed our 4 night stay. The property is only 60m from the beach, 500m walk into the main port and easy bus access to Chora or Mylopotas beach. Rooms are simple but very clean. Thank you so much for making our stay wonderful!

Amazing place to stay. A short 5-10 minute walk from the port. We had a sea view room which was great to wake up to every morning and sit watching the sun set in the evening from the balcony. The hosts were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Ios is relatively unspoilt in spite of having a reputation of a party island. There are lots of practically uninhabited beaches and the beach near Helena was still very quiet. there is of course Myoplatas beach for the party animals. Lots of nice tavernas a short walk from the hotel if you dont want to go up to Chora. We will definitely be back to visit again.

It was s great hotel only 2 minutes walk from the beach the staff were friendly and willing to help with tours and site maps it's near the port also with beautiful restaurants to eat at

Place is very cozy and the owners were very welcomem. Located 3 min away from a very popular beach. Also there were a lot of space to park near by.

Ovviamente non è un hotel. È un albergo ad una stella, se si è consapevoli di questo sappiate che via aspetta una camera di 7 e un bagno di 2 mq piuttosto stretti, mediamente gli spazi sue isole della Grecia sono più o meno questi per una sola camera. I proprietari sono una coppia di anziani e sono gentili, la struttura è a 100 mt dalla spiaggia del porto tranquilla nelle prime ore del mattino, ma po' troppo trafficata dalle mega navi e traghetti da metà mattina in poi è purtroppo piuttosto impattata dalle colonne di fumo derivanti dalle barche e traghetti in partenza. A 400mt al porto trovate gli autobus in partenza per tutte le altre spiagge. Rapporto qualità/prezzo adeguato.

Perfect location walking distance to the port. Hotel is managed and owned by a local couple who take care of all the guests. Basic clean rooms serviced every day. Beach is very close but I went to Mylopotas Beach via bus each day as Far Out Beach club is there for all the daytime action. There are restaurants, bakeries, shops, and a convenience store within walking distance. The town is close, but uphill via steps or the bus which is convenient and comes by every 25 minutes or so. I usually walked from town down the steps with no problem. This is a great hotel for a home base in IOS. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is alright for a very short stay and only for sleeping there if you are an early nighter. "Kitchen" was nearly unexistant (an electric fire and a sink) and staff not very keen. Its 20mins away for the village to which you get going up eternal steps or 5mins by bus

Très bel hôtel situé à 2 minutes de la très belle plage de Gyalos et des petits restaurants qui l'entourent et à une dizaine de minutes à pied du port. Chambre très propre, mais assez petite, avec lit confortable et Wi-fi fonctionnel. Le personnel est hyper sympathique, très honnête et très serviable. L'hôtel est situé à environ 10 minutes en voiture de la Chora et à environ 15 minutes en voiture de la plage de Mylopotas où sont situés les bars et beachclubs. Emplacement parfait si vous souhaitez être un peu à l'écart de la Chora d'Ios et profitez des plages de Gyalos et de Koumpara (plus venteuse, à environ 7 minutes). Service de transport gratuit vers le port disponible lors de votre départ. Nous avons adoré.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the couple that runs the hotel treated us like one of their family. They worked tirelessly to keep the hotel in tip top condition. Our ground floor room was spacious, clean, and well laid out, and the verandah covered patio area immediately outside the room was our favourite spot to chill out after a day exploring the island or a day at the excellent Yialos beach, which is less than a minute's walk down the road. The hotel is also very convenient for the port, restaurants, and for a not too stressful hike up the steps to Chora. If we return to Ios, we will certainly choose Hotel Helena again.

Exciting first visit to Mykonos. Helena was a budget location that made it possible.
