Absolutely fabulous. We travelled as a family and it was our 1st time in Crete and an adults only Hotel, our whole experience was outstanding from the moment we arrived at the hotel till the day of leaving. The staff went above and beyond to help us with our stay. Everything was great and the hotel staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will go back again.

Amazing hotel very clean and very friendly staff hygiene level excellent. Beautiful view of the sea from every side of the hotel. Nice bar with variety of drinks to enjoy the sunshine beside the pool and have a lovely view of the sea front. highly recommended

Albergo molto bello con piscina centrale e parti comuni eleganti e curate. Ottima la soluzione delle camere con accesso a piscina privata o in comune comune a poche camere adiacenti. Inaccettabile il locale ristorante collocato all’interno della struttura, chiuso, poco areato e senza vista sul mare. Colazione buona, cena direi mediocre sia per materie prime che per esecuzione. Personale gentile.

My first experience from the Insula Alba was the reception. As I entered with my suitcases, the older of the receptionists rushed to me, panicky looking, and with voice raised let me know that I must leave my luggage outside. After asking for my and the wife's passports, she again, worried looking, told me I can't enter dinner 'like this'. I was wearing flip flops and a sleeveless shirt (like some summer tourist in Crete, go figure). It's okay to convey this information, but the way she approached me from the first moment was anything but welcoming. It was more like my presence was soiling her lobby. Other than that, service was good. The room is basic for the price, but spacious. There were very okward chairs in the living room, not comfy at all. Bed was decent. Bathroom and shower as well. Dinner had a very wide variety, but the overall quality and taste was below your average taverna on the street (admittedly a high standard to begin with in Greece). Bright spots were plenty of fresh vegetables, and excellent desserts. We didn't have a chance to try breakfast. The hotel is beautiful, especially the pool area. Overall this hotel is more than decent, but for the price I paid, I feel there were better in Crete.

Very nice resort, friendly staff all over the place. The half-board / all inclusive dinner gets a bit tiresome in the end, although they try to change the menu, it is still more or less the same offers. The resort is at the seafront but a bit off the way from all the other resorts, that way it is a relatively quiet place.

Cet hôtel n’est pas un 5 étoiles. Les serveurs au bar de la piscine étaient exceptionnels mais la structure de l’hôtel, le buffet et le service conciergerie n’était pas à la hauteur d’un 5 étoiles.

The hotel is excellent. My only complaint is that they charge for water in dinner and do not offer drinks or even tap water as part of the dinner.

Very friendly and nice personel. Check-in/out is great with the electric golfcarts. Good possibility of 'beaching' by the pool or on the real beach just 5 min walk away. Don't expect much privacy if you choose a room with privat pool.
