Ein wunderbares, familiengeführtes kleines Hotel an einem der schönsten Strände im Süden Kefalonias.

Mounda Beach hotel is a real gem! Wonderful Greek hospitality, stunning location and superb food. Even in the new ‘Covid’ world the levels of attention were excellent without compromising clients health and safety. Alex was brilliant, thoughtful and attentive with ourselves and our children and happy to recommend things to do and see. He was clearly proud of the Family run hotel and the experience clients receive. The family room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. It’s a perfect place to really relax, the beach is a few minutes walk downhill and is very safe for children and one of the best sandy beaches we visited on the island. It is only waist deep even 50m off shore, so felt more like swimming in a pool and our children (9&11) loved it. Further north the beach has a few more rocky features and you will see more marine life, we were lucky enough to see an adult Turtle swimming and lots of nests on the beach (laying season June, birthing August) We did not have a car to start as we just wanted to relax, we arranged an airport transfer with the hotel, they also organized car hire for us when we left, all at very competitive rates. If you do want to do more, Skala is only a 5 minute drive away with lots of dining and activity options. We all really loved Mounda Beach hotel and would not hesitate to return!

Good location for the money. Liked the easy walk to the beach! The latch on the door to our room was a bit sticky. Our mattress was a tad thin and lumpy.

Fantastic hotel - so relaxing and friendly. Lovely start to our honeymoon (stayed 2 nights before heading to Ithaca). Felt at home straight away thanks to Alex’s hospitality! lise to a lovely beach. Great food. Room beautifully decorated with modern furniture. Definitely recommend!

If all you want to do is relax and chill, this is the place for you. This is our 3rd time at the Mounda Beach Hotel and hopefully we'll be back again in September. It's a quaint little (11) rooms family run business with the wonderful Alex leading the way. Nothing is too much trouble for him, and his banter and infectious humour and laughter make the stay even more enjoyable. There is only one shop but Skala is less than 5 minutes away and the staff will gladly take you (and bring you back!) for a small fee. The internet can sometimes be abit iffy, but don't take it personally. There's only one internet provider for the whole island so if your's goes down - so does everybody elses! If you love authentic Greek homemade cooking, love nature and climbing, love a clean secluded beach then this is the place for you. Hopefully see you all in September, and Alex, you know how I like my milkshakes!

Sehr persönlich, somit exklusiv und zuvorkommender Service. Frühstück gut mit ausreichender Auswahl und auch das Abendessen (1x wegen Kurzaufenthalt) war lecker. Ruhig gelegen in Strandnähe. Auto oder Roller für Ausflüge oder abendlichen Bummel vielleicht empfehlenswert.

Immaculate and very well presented. Attentive staff but not overbearing. Great location, very quiet but near to other towns for places to eat etc.

We had a tremendous 4 day break at this lovely hotel, the service was second to none, the food wonderful, the whole hotel was super clean and the grounds were beautiful. We loved being able to stroll along the beach just a few meters down the hill. We would definitely be happy to recommend Mounda Beach hotel and hope to return soon. Thank you all for treating us so well.

Selten hatten wir in Griechenland ein Hotel mit so einem großen Zimmer, welches mit Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Gläser, Tassen & Besteck ausgestattet war. Desweiteren muss man das reichhaltige Frühstück hervorheben - besonders die selbst gebackenen Kuchen. Auch das Essen im Hotel war lecker. Besonders zufrieden waren wir mit dem Service und der Gastfreundlichkeit der Eigentümer. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.

Our 11-day holiday here in mid-September was relaxing and most enjoyable with perfect weather, close proximity to a long sandy beach, and use of free sun beds and pool at next door hotel. The hotel staff were friendly, kind and helpful, giving us lifts into nearby town of Skala and picking us up for a standard taxi rate; they also booked a boat cruise for us. Great breakfasts; several options of places to eat out within walking distance as well as lots of great places in Skala- can recommend The Flamingo! We will be going there again, requesting a sea view room next time, though our garden- view room was spacious, with secluded garden, and excellent daily room service.

residence veramente bello con vista mare fantastica. camera spaziosissima con piccolo patio e giardino privato antistante la camera. la spiaggia è veramente a due passi. meglio avere auto propria anche se i proprietari dell'hotel a prezzi modici sono disponibili a portarvi nella vicina Skala (ca. 3,5 Km.) colazione veramente degna di nota....

Hotel grazioso a conduzione familiare dove ci si può immergere nella bellezza del luogo e nella serafica tranquillità isolana. C’è cura dell’ospite e dell’ambiente. Il panorama è incantevole con vista sulla spiaggia sottostante e sull’isola di Zante all’orizzonte. Ottima la ristorazione, accurato il servizio e la pulizia.

The hotel i think was the most value for money and more i could book in the island. Wonderful view, amazing staff fascinating food. Family run business, you will get great hospitality like you are their guy. Our room was super, great seaview with double bed and an amazing balcony. Very quiet and peaceful place to spend your vacations. Special thanks to Teo and Teta for booking as also an airport transfer made by Gregory, a nice guy from the hotel. The beach is less than 20 seconds away, skala village is 5 minutes by car. We only went there for some supplies. We stayed all the days in the hotel. Reasonable prices in the menu and a big variety of choices will not make your appetite be bored of the same food. We really enjoyed our stay and we promise we will come back!

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with friendly smiles and the owners couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. The view is fantastic and breakfast on the terrace every morning was lovely. Just a short walk to the beach which is sandy and shallow, ideal for children. You do need transport to get into Skala but the hotel will taxi you there for a reasonable price or hire you a car. We were transported to and from airport for half the price of local taxis. Food is very good and we had delicious fresh sea bass, the best I’ve had. Thank you to all the lovely helpful staff it makes such a difference staying somewhere you feel that they genuinely care.

Mounda Beach Hotel is fantastic! We were greeted by a welcome drink. The stunning sandy beach is super close, the hotel is charming, the staff is friendly and helpful, especially Teta, who helped us to find the right bus to travel around and she even helped in online check in (!). The staff member who gave us a lift from the airport, stopped at a super market, so we could buy what we needed for the next couple of days. Our room was nice, spacious, they cleaned it every day. It was also equipped with mosquito repellent (!) and with handkerchiefs, that i have not seen in another accommodation before. Our only problem was the dripping air conditioner from above our balcony door, so that we needed to sleep with the door closed. But i am sure they will fix it in no time. There are rooms with a better view, but we really liked our garden view as well, and the room was nicely cool in a hot greek summer. We only needed to use the air conditioner a couple of times. Anyone can use the pool at the neighboring hotel, however we only used it once, the beaches on this island are so wonderful. All in all this is a highly recommended hotel, it was a really good choice for our honeymoon :) Just please, Teta do not give straws with the welcome drink, sea mammals suffer from it, and this is the nesting place of Caretta caretta!

ho dato meno del massimo al servizio perché Mounda beach hotel è un albergo che ospita 40 clienti per cui la gestione è dei componenti la famiglia: il menù - piatto principale - viene scritto la mattina sulla lavagna ed il resto lo devi richiedere ( prezzi veramente accessibili ), pulizia ottima ma cambio biancheria da far presenta. sei in uno di quei posti dove vedi tutto ( spiaggia meravigliosa di + di 3 km.) e non ti vede nessuno ...Relax e meraviglia!
