昼間は普通にメッセージのやり取りをしていた。 到着時間も夜になる事を事前に伝えてあり、レイトチェックインも了承との事だった。 夜9時過ぎに到着すると、実際には部屋はなく別のホテルに行くよう言われた。 その際に謝罪もなくタクシーの手配もせず地下鉄で移動するよういわれた。 このホテルを選んだのは、空港とのアクセスの良さと、バルコニーからアクロポリスが見えるという事である。 紹介されたホテルは、電車での移動は、空港まで乗り継ぎがあり、土地勘がない私は苦労した。治安の悪さで有名な場所にあり、窓からの風景は廃墟となったビルだった。

Aside from its excellent location, this hostel is terrible in every other way, with old and dilapidated facilities.

The hotel is right 5 minutes walk from the Monasteraki Square where you can find the metro station. There is a metro line that goes to the airport. In Monasteraki square , you can also find the station for the hop on-hop off bus. Around the hotel area, there are lots of restaurants and souvenir shops. The Agora market is just right in front of the hotel. The staff are welcoming. Rooms have airconditioning and heating system. The room I got has a very small toilet/bathroom and so it can get flooded when you are taking a shower. They have very basic amenities, only a shower gel and a shampoo in a container attached to the wall is available. The hot water in the shower and the wi-fi work well. They have a very small elevator that can only take two persons at a time. The selling point of this hotel is its view of the acropolis. They also have a rooftop bar where tou can have a 360 degrees panoramic voew of Athens from Monasteraki area. There is a karaoke bar across the street that can be noisy until 3 AM, but all in all, with its very convenient llcation and its spectacular view of the Acropolis, I will consider staying in this hotel again.

The hotel is located along Ermou street and a 5 minutes walk to Monasteraki square where you can find the Metro Station, Bus stop for hop on hop off, souvenir shops and lots of restaurants. It is also walking distance to the Metropolis and Agora. This hotel perhaps has one of the perfect views of the acropolis from the room. It has 4 floors and a roofdeck where you can see a panoramic view of Athens. Lotss of restaurants in the area. The room size is good enough for two persons. They have airconditioning and heating system. Hot water in the shower and Wifi are all working good. In some rooms, the bathroom are so small. They provide shampoo and body wash in containers attacjed to the wall. They also have a safe for your valuables. Tbe elevator is old and can only carry two persons. For its central location and the perfect view of the acropolis, I will surely stay in this hotel again.

The stay was in a great area for the main areas around Athens. Keep in mind that the hotel is on Ermou, where the city is very lively, loud at times and a high traffic area. I loved this stay because of the location, which suited my expectations. The balcony room was amazing to eat at and gaze at the Acropolis! The staff was all friendly. The wifi was not great. I would pick this hotel again for another stay.

Equipe ótima e infraestrutura muito boa. Único problema, é que o terraço é algo turístico da acomodação, sendo assim, todos sobem pra ver, com frequência as pessoas batem as portas e gritam muito. Não é culpa da acomodação, mas indicaria mudar para uma porta de correr, talvez não fizesse tanto barulho.

Staff were amazing & made my stay extra special!

Auberge sale,vétuste,en piteux état et mal fréquenté.L'enseigne lumineuse extérieure est toujours éteinte et le bâtiment est dans un état précaire.Le personnel est désagréable.On nous a attribué une chambre sale et malodorante au premier étage,j'ai dû insister par que nous la change.L'ascenseur est minuscule et peu fiable.La deuxième chambre était un peu mieux mais petite et délabrée, le mobilier est abîmé et la serrure de la porte de la salle de bain est cassée.Les serviettes fournies à la réception ne sont pas adaptées à la douche.Le bar-terrasse est toujours fermé, malgré une vue imprenable sur l'Acropole.Ils ont des casiers gratuits pour les bagages mais cela n'est pas indiqué à l'arrivée,sinon, il faut payer 2€ chaque fois qu'on le ouvre.Il n'y a pas de distributeurs de café ni d'eau.La position est central pour visiter toute la ville,à proximité du métro et de la place principale,d'où l'on a une vue magnifique sur l'Acropole.En bref,je déconseille fortement cette auberge.Dans le quartier il y a des meilleurs auberges ou hôtels,mieux entretenus et à des prix abordables.C'est une auberge de passage, qui ne vaut la peine d'y passer qu'une nuit.C'est dommage car la ville est magnifique,regorgeant de vestiges historiques facilement accessibles à pied.C'est une ville très animée,avec une multitude d'activités et de nombreux restaurants proposant une excellente cuisine,des plats traditionnels de qualité,à des prix très abordables

Staff good place good

Nagyon jó elhelyezkedésű hostel,barátságos személyzettel. Kiváló a tetőterasz ami 0-24-ben nyitva van. közelben éttermek, sörözők, üzletek és a metró is pár perc.

Clients cannot be educated unless there are some house rules. For example, not to slam the door, turn off light at 11pm, etc... Some curtains around each bed would be helpful for some privacy. Besides that, Marcos, Lucas, Maria and the housekeepers are wonderful. Panos has disappointed me though. I would go back just for 1 night stay.

Spectacular view from balcony, best location, right in the center of Monastiraki, this area is very noisy at night no matter where you stay, so bring earplugs. Refrigerator in every room. If you want hot water, you can get it from the tap or lobby where there is a hot water kettle and they will lend you a mug. They also have filtered drinking water downstairs in the lobby. One of the best things about this place is that you can store your belongings in a locker for up to seven days for only two euro. I took several side trips and came back here to stay each time. I only stayed in private rooms so I cannot account for the dorms. The bathrooms are very small and in one of them the toilet was practically in the shower. The towels are a little subpar and there is only a wand for shower, but it worked OK for me. One of the rooms was a good size and the other two were quite small. I traveled here solo as a female and felt very safe. It’s very close to the metro and all of the sites, street markets, stores and restaurants.

Clean room with old furniture. The staff is beyond compare. Outstanding service by Marcos, Lucas, the housekeepers and the night auditor lady. Very friendly, sociable, helpful and professional. The location is great. Close to everything: food, shopping, metro and train station. The view from the room overlooking the Acropolis is outstanding. I can store my luggage for 2 weeks for just 4 euros. Will definitely recommand. Loved the staff. Thank you Lucas and Marcos See u soon.
