Me pareció la limpieza de todo el hotel, lo único que no me gusto es que en la reservación me aparecía que la habitación contaba con cama king para dos personas y yo entiendo que esas camas son las de 2x2 ya que uso una de esas y era mas pequeña, eso sino lo esperaba.

This hotel is hidden from public view and NOT labeled with a sign or directions. You MUST enter through the closed metal gate just to the left of the church. The gate appears locked, but place your hand through the gate and move the slider in order to open the gate. The hotel will be approximately 30 feet on your left.
Additionally, the listed phone number is not correct and they apparently do not have a contact number. If you arrive before 11pm local time, you should be able to enter. Not sure why no one else has ever provided this info before, so, I'm happy to help!

La Capatania was a great place to stay. We were able to walk to all the places to see in Antigua and dining options were very close. If walking is not for you then the tuk tuks are always close, many were sitting just across the street waiting for passengers. The staff was friendly and let us keep our bags there as we went on our hike to acantenango. I highly recommend La Capatania

A pleasant surprise after reading some negative reviews. The hotel and our room were spotless and smelled very good. The staff was very nice and always had a smile on their face. A short walk to downtown Antigua. We would definitely stay here again.

No me quede en esta propiedad si no que en otra sede llamada capitanía rural más lejos de antigua , la atención al cliente es muy buena las personas se esmeran porque estés cómodo y el lugar es muy limpio …solo deberían mejorar la calidad de los desayunos porque el precio es muy elevado para lo que es y mejorar el tema de los parqueos ….

El hotelito es vecino a la iglesia Ermita de Santa Lucía. Excelente ubicación sobre la Alameda Santa Lucía, y a 2 cuadras de Camino Real.
La habitación tiene una cama, un gavetero y una mesa de noche. Justo para pasar la noche. Sábanas y almohadas limpias, A/C, y el baño nítido. La atención muy amable, me solucionaron dudas desde el booking y se portaron muy amables. Hasta me abrieron de madrugada que regresé de la boda!

La Capitania was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We felt very safe and aside from outside city noise, the hotel itself was very quiet. It is walking distance to everything in town. They made sure we got to the airport safely and on time at the end of our stay. Make sure to contact them before you get there so you get instructions on how to get through the gate.

Clean room with a good mattress but rather small ,dont expect to put a second suitcase somewhere. Glass panel above the room door without any cover so expect to be awaken when someone turns the hall lights on.The main window curtain is not lightproof either.
It overlooks a church ,but 30m beyond is a very busy road and you can hear in the distance horning trucks,motorcycle and so on.
Bathroom is ok ,warm water available.
Ok if you have excursions starting early….

The hotel was okay, friendly staff. The location is near the Mercado central (central market ) and bus terminal, which makes it a very congested, crowded and noisy area.
