Jacmel is a beautiful place. This hotel was full of very warm and helpful staff. The history was in the walls, it’s a very nice hotel. I stayed all 14 days and I enjoyed my stay. WiFi was faster during morning.

During my stay, I only had internet access the first night I arrived. That same night, I was unable to communicate with anyone, which caused my friends and family to panic, thinking something had happened to me. When I asked the staff what was wrong with the internet, I received vague and inconsistent explanations. By the second night, I was determined to let my friends and family know I was safe. I asked the front desk if they could help me make a local call, but I was told it could only be Digicel numbers, not Natcom. Even then, they were unable to get through. Eventually, a gentleman kindly connected my phone to his private internet service so I could communicate, and I had to pay him for that access. I do not recommend this place to anyone who needs reliable internet service. The place itself is not bad, but the internet service is extremely poor.

I did not like the fact that when getting ready to go out, there were no water to shower. Had to go to front desk on two different occasion for that.

It has a beach right by the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, and typically has great amenities. Hotels are struggling to offer menus and 24/7 electricity in Haiti due to the insecurity and political turmoil. But this is my favorite hotel in Jacmel!!

The food was amazing 😉 and the pool was great the views were amazing in the room and at the restaurant.

It is not a clean place. I would not stay there again.

Great property! The best in Jacmel! This will be our go to from now own whenever we travel there. Very clean, very friendly staff

They have an exellent good breakfast buffet. The finish of the property itself is not appealling.

Restaurant service was terrible. Several times we waited more than an hour after we ordered to get our food. Many items on the menu were not available. A beautiful location but no other restaurants are close. We were told a taxi would cost $40US each way. Can’t recommend.

Customer service is excellent. The hotel is positioned right in front of the beach, as a result, the views are amazing. The room need some updating and the bathroom can be cleaner. They had entertainment on new year eve. Food and drinks are very good.

The staff were amazing. The hotel need some upgrades. They don’t have a gym and no direct access to the beach. The view and the staff make up for what the hotel is lacking. So I was pleased with my stay.

Cap Lamondou is an okay hotel for Jacmel, Haiti. The hotel has some of the best views. The staff are really nice people. However, the actual building is rundown. The generator runs all night just in case you desire sleep. There was no hot water.

Great Americanized hotel in Jacmel with a private beach. Positioned on a bluff overlooking the ocean it reminds me of the Mediterranean scene.
