This was a very cool place. Staff was awesome. I did the luxury suite. Hammock was heavenly with the rain falling. I felt like a real guest. They cooked special breakfast for my wife and I. They had massage area. Please, put this in context, This is not your Waldorf Astoria, and if you want that, why are you even in Honduras? If you want a safe place that will treat you right and has everything you need, come here.

The breakfast was perfect. Fresh fruit, eggs, toast and coffee. We had the room with the terrace with hammock which was great. The hammock is great to come back to after a long morning of walking/touring. Views of sunrise over the mountains in the morning and an occasional sight of Macaws flying by. The location is great; only a few block from town center up a hill.
Plenty of hot water and the shower as nice and large. The bed was comfortable.
The only issue we had is that a neighbor's dog barked constantly the first night and prevented me from sleeping right away. Has to use ear plugs and put the AC on to disguise the noise. It didn't occur the other nights though thankfully.

What a great welcome at Terramaya after many hours on the road. After a swift check-in I was whisked up to my room (#3) on the second floor. The front desk employee brought up filtered water and hibiscus tea and set it up in my room. The balcony room facing the street was a bit noisy at times but easily remedied by closing the doors and turning on A/C.
Breakfast was a revelation - fruit, fresh yogurt and granola, coffee and juice, an egg dish and bread made in-house. Eating on the terrace facing the garden was peaceful and lovely.
Would stay again and highly recommend.

Room was not as expected on photos. We were given a room facing the street so it was noisy. Also we booked twin room but was provided double. Very difficult check in as the receptionist did not speak English but we managed with Google translate. The receptionist recommended and booked us on a horse ride tour of 3 stops which she wrote down but in the middle of the horse ride the person who took us on the ride informed us he is only going to take us to one stop. We called the hotel as we booked this tour through them and they were of no help. Felt abandoned in the rain... Total rip off. Don't book any tours through the hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel with just six rooms, about two blocks from the Central Park - Very comfortable rooms with a great breakfast overlooking the garden, and they were very accommodating regarding dietary restrictions. The hotel is very well appointed and the staff are very efficient and friendly. They have a secure parking lot across the street. The hotel was very peaceful and they have a security guard at night. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone that is visiting Copan Ruinas!

This was a great place to stay while visiting the copan ruins. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and were able to accommodate myself and my father very quickly. We also had a great view of the mountains from our room and I took full advantage of the hammock. I would stay here again and I would recommend this place to others visiting copan.

Terramaya is wonderful! By far our favorite hotel in Copán Ruins and we have tried many. The staff is fantastic, the rooms comfy and beautifully decorated and the breakfast AMAZING! We will be staying here again!
