The hotel exceeded our expectations, our room was clean, comfortable and had a lake view. The staff was kind and professional, especially Georgina, who helped us find an excellent room after the first one they assigned us only had a partial view of Lake Balaton. The SPA was also great, but what really impressed us was the abundance of varied, special and delicious foods. I would rank the culinary experience, what we had in the hotel into the top five out of the hundreds of hotels we have stayed in worldwide over the decades.

Das Zimmer war perfekt – sehr sauber, praktisch eingerichtet und mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht.
Das Abendessenbuffet war äußerst vielfältig, alles war geschmackvoll, schön angerichtet und die Auswahl war groß – ebenso beim Frühstück.
Die Rezeption war sehr zuvorkommend, und das Servicepersonal war stets freundlich und höflich.
Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – sehr empfehlenswert!

Wirklich alle super nett. Das Badezimmer hätte in der Woche des Aufenthaltes wenigstens einmal gewischt gehört. Wenn wir an der Rezeption was gesagt hätten, dann hätten sie es bestimmt sofort erledigt. Auf andere Wünsche haben sie auch sofort reagiert. Also unsere Schuld. Ansonsten ist es mit dem Privatstrand und dem großen Schwimmbad sehr schön. Das ganze Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Brett and Lilla are Always very happy with our stay at hotel helikon the food is always great and so is the facility’s and the pleasant staff except for one low life who yelled at me for bringing my own drink to the dining room table but since I’m rich and he is working poor I acted like an adult and let it go even though I could have ruined his life because this is the American way he’s lucky I wasn’t an evil elitist snob European other than that everything was great the man was over 45 and had grey hair so Il let him enjoy his pathetic life

This was our 2 nd time staying in July Brett and Lilla we had such a great time again breakfast and dinner was excellent again and the staff were super friendly and helpful as usual dont wait to book your stay here rooms get sold out very very quickly and this is one of the best hotels at lake Balaton

Wir haben uns auf die Junior Suite mit Blick auf den See gefreut, laut Beschreibung sogar von der Badewanne aus. Leider waren die Fenster nicht geputzt und wir konnten die Aussicht nicht genießen. Noch dazu eine schlecht geputzte Badewanne, die ich mir dann vor der Benutzung selbst geputzt habe.
Late check out zusätzlich gebucht, die Zimmerkarte wurde aber nicht verlängert.
Abendessen in Ordnung, geschmacklich nichts für uns.
Eigentlich haben wir gesagt, wir kommen nie wieder, aber dann hat der Spa Bereich uns doch umgestimmt. Nur eine Junior Suite werden wir nicht mehr buchen, schade ums Geld.

Leider haben wir das Zimmer nicht um 15 Uhr bekommen sondern hat man uns warten lassen ca. 20min später man hätte als wieder gut machung von der Bar einige Drinks spendieren können..... Das Zimmer selbst ist neu renoviert ausreichend viel Platz dennoch nicht immer Sauber vorallem was die Handtücher anbelangt, war zumindest unser Gefühl... Die Lage des Hotels ist erstklassig. Frühstück ist ganz okay findet jeder was ebenso das Abendessen was ich persönlich etwas besser gefunden habe (wahrscheinlich weil mehr Auswahl da war) Alles in Allem bis auf das Warten und den Zimmerservice Sehr Gutes Erlebnis definitv Empfehlenswert.
