The staff were all very nice and helpful doubling as bartenders and servers if need be. Dinner was excellent and the included breakfast was good and plentiful. The setting was pastoral. The room and bath were smaller but sufficient, clean, and comfortable.

Old fashioned hotel located close to all the South-East Iceland has to offer. Quite and quant. Great breakfast included , dinner availab,e which is a great perk since its in the middle of nowhere

Beautiful hotel and excellent staff! Perfect stay for an Iceland trip — the property is in a beautiful location right at the base of a mountain with fields across the street. We enjoyed it very much! Plus complimentary breakfast!

Outstanding stay.

Petite chambre confortable et très propre. Le menu du soir était excellent. Petit déjeuner basique mais on trouve tout ce qu’il faut, bémol sur le jus de fruit très dilué.

Hotel was very close to glacier hike and iceberg tour in lagoon. Stayed 1 night. Quaint and peaceful.

Good size room with private bathroom. Free on site parking, delicious breakfast and evening meal! We saw the little lambs nearby and the grass church, very scenic location to stay!

The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and it was really close to many glaciers and hikes. Great convenient hotel. The fridge was nice to have a place to put some groceries.

Great hotel stay along the ring road! Staff was nice, helped me fill my camelbacks, breakfast was good and filling, and the room was cozy. No complaints!

Perfect 1 night stay for us when exploring the south east and loved the view from our room! Dinner was spot on, too.

Pretty average place. Room size a bit on the smaller side. One little window that looked out to reception so everyone was walking past. Breakfast average too. Would not stay again.

We had a great time staying in this neat place. We were very fortunate to have an end room that had windows on two sides with awesome views. The manager was a lovely guy and made us feel right at home. Location for the national park was very convenient. We’d definitely stay here again if we could come back to the area.

Vom 5 Hotels auf Island, war dies bisher das schlechteste. Es hatte eher den Charakter eines Hostels. - sehr hellhörig - Zimmer konnte nicht richtig abgedunkelt werden, da die Vorhänge nicht die Lampe des Balkons abdecken konnte - der Zustand des Badezimmers lies zu wünschen übrig, teilweise waren Löcher in den Fliesen, die Handbrause ist scheinbar demontiert worden, die Fugen waren sehr schwarz und die Dusche wirkte nicht gereinigt - ich verstehe, dass das Frühstück nicht eingepackt werden darf, aber Kameras in der Ecke zu installieren und an jeder Wand 2 Warnhinweise zu installieren, dass es verboten ist und jeder Artikel in Rechnung gestellt wird scheint mir doch etwas übertrieben Was positiv war, ist auf jeden Fall die Gegend und die Nähe zu Jökulsárlón.
