Great place to stay while adventuring along the southern coast. Short drive to diamond beach and easy to find. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic too. Would definitely stay again!

Solid place. Staff was friendly and professional. The location is quite nice. It's remote, so you get a nice and peaceful surrounding. With cool views of the mountain. The place is clean and feels fresh. Breakfast was good. Dinner at the restaurant here is also great. Definitely feels like a place that gives you everything you need to have a wonderful stay.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Nebengebäude, welches einem Containerbau entspricht. Das Zimmer war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es hat ab nichts gefehlt. An der ein oder anderen Stelle ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dies sieht man bspw. im Flur. Gutes Frühstück. Für abends steht auch ein Restaurant zur Verfügung.

Room was clean, tidy and a reasonable size. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we got the room closest to the main entrance so we got a lot of noise / banging of the hotel main entrance door which was annoying. It also felt like we were in a fishbowl and people could easily look into our room.
No TV in room which was disappointing - only stay in Iceland which hasn't had that. Location was okay, not a lot nearby.
Not many options for restaurants nearby, one on site is okay but expensive and has a small menu.
Good breakfast but cannot take any food away for sandwiches which was disappointing.

Vi hade oturen att få ett rum som luktade fruktansvärt mycket avlopp från badrummet. Detta tog sig ut i hela rummet. Jag försökte få ett annat rum men det fanns inte. Det var en hemsk natt att vistas i den lukten i så många timmar. Utöver det, helt okej, dock inget jag återvänder till.

Our most expensive stay, given the limited options in Skaftafell. Not worth the money. The property is pretty rundown. No screen on the window to keep out bugs and noise in the hallway/adjacent rooms was an issue.

Wonderful hotel space, but has a kitchenet, more like an apartment as they call themselves. Grocery on the first floor. Plenty of street parking. Centrally located for shopping street and most sites. East walls to many location.

Upon arriving we realized it was situated directly beside a graveyard. The location behind it is nice tho.. mountainous. Breakfast was below average and the room had 1 window that faced what I can only imagine was a staff area between the building. For close to $400 a night we expected more. Staff were friendly and the room was clean.
