B14 ホステル

私は、英語が不自由でしたから、翻訳機を駆使して、コミュニケーションを取ってくれました。 先に予約した Reykjavik　Sightseeing では、メールコミュニケーションが全く出来ず、困りましたので、宿は安心の対応で、日曜日には無事オーロラも無事撮影出来ました。 日本人には良い所でした。 ありがとう御座いました!

初めてホステルという共同宿泊施設に泊まりましたが、まずはチェックイン前に来るはずだった玄関やお部屋のアクセスコードがメールで届かず(迷惑メールフォルダもチェック済み)不便だったことと、お部屋履き用にと置いてたお気に入りのビーチサンダルを盗まれたことが非常に残念でした。 清潔に清掃もされて、共同スペースもゆったりオシャレで快適だったのはとても良かったです。

ホステルは新しく綺麗でしたが、郊外にある為、交通アクセスが悪くタクシーに頼らざるを得ませんでした。スタッフは今まで利用した宿泊施設のなかでは最悪でした。多分オーナーの指示でしょうが、空港までのシャトルサービスが有ると書いて有るにもかかわらず、ネット検索して自分で予約しなさいでしたし、タクシーもタクシー会社を検索して自分で電話、何か聞いても知らない自分で探せと言う感じででした。

Pros: close to downtown. Bar downstairs. Multiple bathrooms and shower. Good WiFi. Cons: hard to find parking. Hard to find room. Staff of little help. No towel for shower. Curtains on beds were terrible and falling off.

The exceptional service provided by the staff significantly enhanced the overall experience. I extend our sincere gratitude for their invaluable assistance.

Was a bit difficult to find at first but easy to access. And free parking!! I also loved the variety of kitchen supplies! The only downside that I had was initially being assigned to room 1 (both on my email confirmation and upon the self check in). I ‘claimed’ my bed and left for a reservation. When I returned, the room was fully ‘claimed’ leaving no bed for me. Thankfully staff was on site at the time and said that it was a group who wanted to stay in the same room. They ended up moving me to another room, which is no big deal, but what if staff wasn’t there to assist with the change?

沒有人管理的地方，永遠不知道什麼時候有什麼人進出。半夜去上廁所，突然發現客廳坐著很多人，在洗澡的時候，外面也有人大力拉門。在女生的臥室，常常因位床位發生爭執 ，因為沒有指定床位，常常有人睡到別人已經使用的床位。旅客素質差，有人吸毒在餐廳客廳晃整晚甚至強制開女生的房門。 非常不安全的地方，女生要小心。

Une auberge de jeunesse difficile à trouver, cela donne l'impression d'être caché. Les espaces, surtout dans les chambres, ne sont pas très étendues, et même si l'établissement en général est propre, mon lit n'était pas net, il y avait quelques poils. Les lits superposés sont presque en touchant le plafond, et le lit ne permet pas un bon sommeil. Concernant le check-in, selon Expedia l'heure d'arrivée pouvait être à 14h, j'étais là quelques minutes plus tard mais je n'ai pas reçu le digicode pour entrer. Au téléphone, une dame pas du tout proactive, m'a dit que le code arrive toujours dans ma boîte e-mail, mais qu'elle va me l'envoyer par SMS, mais cela jamais a eu lieu, et j'ai pas recu le code par e-mail sinon après 16h. Une personne gentille qui travaille là m'a permit d'entrer et de me donner la chambre, merci à lui. L'hôtel a des toilettes et salles de bain séparés (ce qui un français peut aimer) et une cuisine où on peut se cuisiner et garder la nourriture. Emplacement très éloignée du centre et des points intéressantes de Reykjavik.

I came to B-14 from a partial hike on the hut-to-hut Laugevegur Hiking Trail. I needed something economical and available for the same night. As a mature female traveling alone, I figured if I could stay in trail huts, I could stay in a hostel. I was super pleasantly surprised to find a welcoming, friendly, very clean and comfortable accommodation. I slept better than I had in a few nights! I would definitely recommend this hostel to others.

Great staff. Really well kitted out shared kitchen. Clean and mellow atmosphere. Convenient location.

I was a little bit disappointing I was left outside without a key or a code to get in, but after one night here I extended my stay three more nights because it's so clean and so immaculate but it's actually nicer than some hotels I've stayed at. I had a 12 bunk room and I only had to share it with one other person. Very clean, and extremely luxurious, which, for a hostel, is basically unheard of

Ik was er tijdens de wintermaanden, wat voor zorgde dat we met 2 het hostel voor ons alleen hadden. Leuk en jammer tegelijk. Gezien het net fijn is om tips en ervaringen te delen. Gezien de 'conciërge' een aparte kamer heeft, toch een drempel om hem vragen te stellen (naar mijn mening)
