バクランド・アド・ラガフェリー

Die Lage ist absolut ideal für Natur, Ruhe und Nähe an Landeyjahöfn (Fähre für Vestmännaeyjar). Leider entsprach die Realität nicht der Beschreibung auf der Homepage. Der Bauernhof befindet sich (Mitte Mai 2026) in einer Übergangsphase, weil die neuen Hofeigentümer gerade eingezogen sind. Die Ferienwohnung sowie die Innenausstattung sind zwar veraltet, die Heizung funktioniert aber tadellos, ein nicht zu unterschätzendes Detail in Island :). Es gab weder Milch noch frische Eier, die Lage ist dennoch spektakulär, mit Blick auf den Eyjafjallajökull und auf die Vestmännaeyjar-Inseln.

Bathroom was very big. We saw the northern lights which made the stay much better. Spacious and unit was on the ground floor.

Gut ausgestattet, grösser als ein Hotelzimmer und freundliche Betreuung, auch wenn per Telefon. Wir würden immer zurückkommen

Its a dairy farm guesthouse. We stay here for two nights. The lady who greeted at us was ver friendly. She tour us around the farm and let us see the baby cows and seeing how they milking the cow. Very lovely experience.

Très bon séjour, malgré un manque total de communication avec la propriétaire qui ne doit pas parler anglais, qui, après plusieurs tentatives, a bien voulu nous montrer notre appart… Appart très spacieux, très confortable, avec tout le nécessaire et même machine à laver et sèche linge…. Attention où vous mettez les pieds la nuit dans le jardin qui est rempli de déjections d’animaux !!!! Mais parfait pour voir les aurores boréales !!!!!!! Excellent séjour de 2 nuits au calme !

Grand appartement, très propre et bien équipé. C'est peut-être un peu mal isolé pour le son car j'entendais relativement bien les voisins d'en haut très tard le soir.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht. Leider gab es nur zwei Einzelbetten, die man nicht gut zusammen schieben konnte. Es war etwas hell, da keine Rollos vorhanden waren.

Clean with plenty of space for a big family. Nice to be able to do some laundry. Beware of the younger woman on the property. After being told we were free to walk around and explore, the younger woman verbally attacked our family for petting a dog that came running over wanting to play.

A 2-bedroom accommodation on the ground floor of the farm, fully accessible for persons with disabilities. The kitchen is fully equipped, though guests are advised to bring their own oil. You can see cows on the farm and horses around.

乾淨整潔,農場還有很親人的馬,沒有光害,天氣好還可看到極光,雖然離１號公路有點距離,都是柏油路很好開.跟１號路邊的有些Hotel比我寧可多花點時間住這,可惜就是房間真的有個味道若可以改善更好．

We stayed at Bakland ad Lagafelli for one night during our ring road driving trip recently. It was almost the worst experience we had in the entire trip.the communication was sent before we arrived but the language was almost like not interpretable. We had a two bedroom apartment which was spacious. But the bathroom was very dated and the shower head was broken, water doesn’t drain properly and flooded after two shower. The kitchen dishes were not clean. We were being asked to wash all the dishes after the stay or otherwise will be charged with additional fee. The only upside of this stay is that the farm was beautiful and the review at sunset of horse running was so beautiful.

It’s a very peaceful and good condition farmhouse, decent area and rooms, perfect for big family. Lovely farm environment and glad to see horses and dogs around the house. Highly recommended!

Love the countryside all the room are big and feel comfortable

A neat apartment on a working farm! The owners were friendly, and invited us to make ourselves at home, and watch milking, or visit sheep and so on. (Unfortunately, we were so jet lagged, we mostly just wanted to get some rest.) Our apartment was quite large, bright, clean, and well equipped. It even looked like it was able to accommodate some different handicaps.

Loved the wild animals roaming! WOW! Will stay here again!
