We had an awesome 2 days in this wonderful apartment. Best view ever! Very nice, big and bright studio with all the amenities. It was great for our family of 3 (traveling with a 14 years old). Thank you for the welcome gift and little attentions (ie basket in the bathroom). We will recommend for sure

Check in was flawless. Parking is free & easily. The place smelled great. Ocean View was lovely & having access to their scope was a bonus. The espresso machine made a great cup of coffee and beds were very comfortable. Fyi: The reviews I read before our stay said there was a dishwasher & clothing washer. There is NOT. But, the place was clean & spacious, with fun decor! We noticed a little typical wear/tear & the wardrobe closest to the door could use an anchor. It didn't bother us though. Again, it smelled wonderful and response time from the owner was remarkably prompt. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Beautiful suroundings, the owners had power coverters left wine and beer for our arrival, and thought of everything, which was a nice surprise

We stayed in the cabin for 2 nights, the first two nights of our holiday. The bedroom & balcony overlooks the sea. We saw 3 whales the first evening from the shore path. The second day we toured the peninsula & saw all of the sights. We had a wonderful couple of days. The cabin is well equipped & had everything we needed. We bought supplies in Bonus supermarket in Borgarnes on the way from the airport. The murals are interesting & worth a look. Rent a jeep if you’re heading out this way so that you can reach the sights only accessible by track. Really recommend this cabin for anyone seeking peace & quiet right beside the sea.

We stayed here for a few nights while visiting the national park. The place was quiet and peaceful. Very close to where we were going. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. The view out the back deck was breath taking.

What a wonderful apartment! So cute, had everything you'd need AND an unexpected cold beverage selection in the refrigerator! If you are planning to tour around and hike this area, it is the perfect home base. Thank you!

Overall, the stay was excellent. The unit was very large which was great. They provided beers upon arrival which was very nice! There was also a beautiful view of the water from the terrace. Only issues I had were: the bed was old and squeaked every time I moved, there was no TV (not a huge deal) and one of the towels was slightly smelly (maybe dried wrong). Other than these small issues, the property was excellent and I would definitely stay there again.

After spending 10 days circling Iceland, this was by far our favorite place to stay. The apartment is both gorgeous and spacious, and the views are wonderful. Looking out from one side of the apartment you will see mountains and a huge glacier. From the other end you will see the ocean. When we were there, we could see seals basking on the rocks just offshore from the apartment. The apartment was extremely clean and especially comfortable. We will be back!

We stayed at this nice apartment for just a few nights and felt right at home. Loved the record player!!

My partner & I stayed at this propertly for one night on the 14-15th Match. Check in was super easy, there's a key box on the apartment door which you're given the code for. At first glance, the apartment is fabulous, I loved the layout. Upon closer inspection, certain parts of the apartment look somewhat unfinished e.g. exposed pipework in the bathroom, blinds not closing properly in the front of the building etc. There is no television in the apartment. There is a record player which you can play music from your phone on via bluetooth which was cool. The apartment was lovely and warm & the bed was comfortable. The shower doesnt drain properly. Theres no lighting in the bedroom area apart from a small beside lamp. We didnt arrive at the apartment until late & had super difficulty finding places for food. There is some restaurants nearby but they were all closed during the off-season. We did come across a supermarket in Olafsvik that appeared to be closed. It's definately worth stopping somewhere to get a few bits that you need and taking them to the apartment. The views from this apartment were everything I expected & more. The balcony is shared with one of the other apatments. We managed to see some seals during our stay which was very cool. This apartment has so much potential but definatelly needs some rennovating & maintenance works.

Beautiful, unique place with a gorgeous view of the ocean. We saw a full rainbow in the morning. We did have some things come up. The patio is shared with another unit, so people sometimes walked in front of the bedroom. The dryer seems to need repairs - doesn’t spin the clothes so they got hot, but couldn’t dry. Everything else was good and felt thoughtful! The host left some wine and local beer for us, and the layout is lovely and comfortable.

We loved it here! We were in town for a triathlon so the ability to cook was important. Best little kitchen, bed was comfortable, bathroom nice. But the deck overlooking the water was so relaxing. Also, Kari was so nice and went above and beyond. A good place to stay if you want to be away from busy life.
