Very friendly staffs

What a lovely place to stay! It’s also a good spot to watch northern light if the sky is clear. The owner is very friendly. She welcomed us warmly.

Hütte ist ganz gut. Küche ist okay gibt aber keine Mikrowelle.

Mountains on one side and ocean on the other. It was a beautiful location. We enjoyed our room very much. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing to note was the trash was small in the room and the kitchen. But we just brought our own shopping bag for trash and threw it out elsewhere. The kitchen is very small if there are a few people wanting to cook or do dishes. But everyone was very kind and we all worked around each other. You definitely need to prepare to be at least 30 + minutes from grocery, pharmacy and such so plan accordingly. Great location to explore the peninsula.

The cutest cabin with the most amazing views.the staff was so friendly but i was a bit sad that i didnt get to meet thor and loki (the cats on premises) will have to take a trip back

Clean room/cabin, great staff/owners, parking, location. Would certainly stay there again.

We stayed only one night but found our little cabin to be quaint and quite comfortable. We found all that we needed although the bathroom was small and we would have appreciated more lighting in there. We loved the location and surrounding area of the mountains and a view of the water. We also got to see the Northern Lights. One of our favorite stays while in Iceland.

Great area of Iceland. Homey, and clean room. Good stay. Too windy for hot tub use per hotel

Amazing veiw of ocean and mountains

This place was beautiful. The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. It had a beautiful view and very friendly and helpful staff. They even helped us out of a jam with a bad turn in the parking area. We were especially grateful for their quick response and over the top assistance!

This was a great place to stay. We were in one of the little cottages and we loved it. The bed was very comfortable and this was very peaceful. There are other options on the property with one including a hot tub out your back door. We would 100% stay here again. Plus, it was very affordable.

Nice view and very quiet. Kitchen could improve a little bit. Other than that everything is great.

Location was great! Just a few people staying there in October. 3 large windows face a flat beach with an ocean view. Unfortunately, 2 of the windows have condensation inside/ broken seal. Front and back porches. We saw a beautiful sunset and 2 nights of awesome aurora viewing!! There was a hot tub, but we didn't use it. This place is not for those with high standards. Everything is old and worn out. Very minimal furnishings. From the 90's TV (that didn't work anyway) to the threadbare dish clothes, and sad arrangement of miscellaneous mugs and cups, this place could use a facelift. Maybe spend a few bucks at the thrift store and get some 'new' dishware and towels. Never saw any staff. Retrieved the keys from a box and returned them. Easy enough. We did enjoy our stay and the Snaefellsnes Penisula.

I would NOT recommend ever staying at this place. Bathroom was fifthly, stained curtains, missing kitchen cabinet doors, dirty stove. The only seating provided were stacking chairs. Nothing like what is pictured. When I told the staff that we were extremely disappointed with the room and could we move to a different space - their response was "That is what you booked" . Sign posed in the kitchen if you do not put you dishes away you will be charged 80euros

Great location. Separate cabins. Kitchen is self serve open 24 hrs pots for cooking. A stove top and oven. Plates cups and cutlery. Soap dog cleaning up and Wi-Fi. Would stay again.

We stay at the property for one night. The room is clean with free parking in front of the cabin. The property is situated in a nice area with both sea and mountain View. The stand alone kitchen has everything you need to prepare a simple meal if needed and it is the only area on the property with WIFI. We recommend it.

Loved the cute little cottages and there were Sheep around along with a friendly cat. If you are in luck, you get to have an excellent view of the Northern lights
