Super clean, easy to stay at- a wonderful guesthouse to stay at- even if you are used to staying in hotels! There are plenty of bathrooms to share- highly recommend!

Our room is very clean and quiet. Staff are very friendly. Our room’s view is super, we can see the beautiful sunset in our room. Location is good, not too far from Vik where we can have great restaurants for dinner. Not too far for many activities.

Oke slaapplek voor 1 nacht. Niet echt vriendelijke ontvangst, douche in avond klein straaltje en in de ochtend stopte de douche er volledig mee. In de avond in de algemene ruimte stond een camera aan, mocht je niet eten en drinken(of moest gekocht zijn bij accomodatie). Bedden oke voor 1 nacht. Goede locatie.

The location is very nice, nestled at the base of Peter's Island which offers a beautiful view and between two excellent sightseeing spots. Dyrholey is about 10 minutes to the east, and the the Skogafoss waterfall is about 10 minutes to the west. Nero (dog) was a sweet and friendly welcoming committee, The place is pretty pricey for the condition of the property, and breakfast wasn't included in our plan. The walls are also very thin, even though we had a private bathroom we could still hear people doing their business. The location is great, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

This is an old house or Barn converted into a Hotel, leaky faucets, hot water runs out in a minute then you wait 15 to 20 minutes or longer. In our room tge hair dryer wasn't working, we called the hotel staff at 6AM since the Hotwater stopped after a minute...they said it wasn't an emergency, taking a cold shower isn't an option especially when you paid top dollar for a room. Staff doesn't show up until 7.30 or 8 AM. You can find plenty of good hotel in VIK the next town 20 minutes away,we wish we knew that before we booked here. I rarely write reviews let alone something this critical but wanted to spare the anguish for other travellers.

This property was a perfect location for us and had a serene setting. We were greeted by a lovely dog, who i called Lassie as it appeared to be a Collie. Our room was more than adequate for our stay and a short 20 minute drive to Vik. The beds were comfortable. Lassie tried to climb in our car and come home with us but we told her/ him they had to stay.

Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht von der Unterkunft. Das war mit Abstand die schlechteste Unterkunft die wir in unseren 11 Tagen Island hatten und wir waren zum glück nur eine nacht dort. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Die ganze Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen und die Bäder sind zwar sauber aber abgesehen davon eine Zumutung...

Clean motel in beautiful area. Unfortunately the only place you can take advantage of the view is the picnic table in the parking lot. Small window in room with no view of much and the room with all the windows and seating that is advertised is only open for breakfast. Too much money for a bed and a bathroom with poor water pressure.

The owner is greedy. Requested to remove the shoes at the entrance, but asked ~$35 for breakfast and no free coffee during the day, only Nescafe with dry creamer. Room is small, not all rooms have bathroom in the room. :(

El precio es excesivamente elevado para el servicio ofrecido. Fue el alojamiento mas caro de toda nuestra estancia en Islandia, y ni siquiera incluían el desayuno. No lo recomiendo.
