スタッフがとても親切で、気持ちよく滞在できましました。日本人とわかって、日本語で挨拶してもらったのも嬉しかったです。温泉とサウナがあったのも良かったです。朝ごはんのバイキングも、いろいろな種類があって、楽しく美味しくいただきました。ありがとうございました。

Not far from Vik town. The room was large and clean and the restaurant had a good atmosphere.

設備はよいですが、とにかくコンセントが少ない。旅行中は諸々の充電があるのに... 部屋の設備としては、標準ですが、ログハウスちっくな部屋は雰囲気があっていいです。 レストランがありますが、夕食は結構なお値段です。私は近くのスーパーで買ってきてすませました。朝食は普通です。 場所的にレンタカーで左回りで旅行している人には、ここはケフラビーク空港から上陸して2泊目の候補地になるかと思います。場所的にはいいのですが、レストランで食事を考えている方は予算との兼ね合いなども考慮した方がよいかと思います。

Breakfast options were amazing, dinner was the best (lamb burger) the hot tub was great with the view, staff were friendly. Was here only 1 nite but everything was great .

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and for the most part, the hotel was good but there are several areas that can be improved for a better stay: The room: can definitely use more storage for 2 people. Very cramped to constantly open the luggages to take out clothing. The pillows were too soft - almost like sleeping on nothing. The duvet covers were ribbed and scratchy. The bathroom: there was no hook at all to hang up clothes when showering. The small towel rack was just enough for 2 towels. The breakfast: enjoyable but would be great to have variety for those who are staying multiple days. The only that changed was the smoothie on our last day.

Great amenities. Close to everything in Vik. Wonderful breakfast.

Electricity kept going out in our room. We were told by staff that it was "not strong" and to not plug in many devices, however just plugging in our phone to charge tripped the breaker. Otherwise, room was spotless and beds were very comfortable. We had plenty of good towels and the breakfast buffet had very good selections which were all tasty.

Nice hotel just outside of Vik, less than 10 minutes to the city. Hot tub and sauna were great, included breakfast was good with variety of options. Recommended and would stay again

Don't let first impressions as you drive in dissuade you - the place gives of a bit of a barn/farm vibe but is a very nice place once you get in. Having the reception & restaurant building disconnected from the building with the rooms was a little annoying - meant you had to bring your jacket and get pelted by rain/sleet/snow when you came down for dinner or breakfast. The restaurant was very nice and large and the buffet dinner offered a really nice assortment of options. The breakfast buffet was kinda lacking some of the staples we found at every other breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage) but was ok nonetheless. The restaurant staff were very competent (if not personable) and seemed to have been trained like a fine tuned machine (it felt like they were wiping away crumbs before they hit the table). Overall a nice place after a very hectic day.

Incredible stay at Hotel Katla! Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Location is very easy to find, and perfect for a driving holiday. We got to see the Northern Lights too! Breakfast buffet was fantastic - loads of options and dietary information was very clear which made our experience much better. Really enjoyed the hot tub & sauna too. It was a shared ammenity, but was never too busy.

Chambre très propres, lits confortables - buffet dîner et petit-déjeuner très bons, personnel très sympathique. Le seul bémol est que le bain chaud en extérieur est relativement petit comparé à la taille de l'hôtel. Nous y étions en hiver, donc nous avons eu le bain juste pour nous, le premier soir, mais parce que le temps n'était pas très invitant. En revanche le deuxième soir, le bain était plein pendant un bon moment donc nous n'y sommes pas allés. Je n'ose donc pas imaginer en plein été ...

Could have more amenities such as closet, microwave, fridge, or shampoo.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The front desk and breakfast staff were kind and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious with many different options. The hot tub and sauna on site was an added plus. The hotel was a short drive from Vik’s city center and the property was serene, quiet, and beautiful.
