レセプションの位置が、少し分かりにくかったです。朝ごはんは、種類が豊富で、美味しかったです。ありがとうございました。

True to boarding school character. On-site restaurant basic but adequate. Remote location.

Das ist kein Hotel, wie man es eigentlich erwartet. Es ist außerhalb des Sommers ein Internat. Dementsprechend ist die Zimmerausstattung und Atmosphäre. Einfach furchtbar. Und das für den Preis. Frühstück war aber gut.

The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious.

Food and bed were good.

Room was very small, uncomfortable, and had an unpleasant smell. The common area where meals are served has an hospital vibe. Dinner was the worst in our 2-week Iceland trip. Breakfast was good though.

Room was really warm even with the window open.

Les bons points: chambre in fine assez grande et tres propre. Les points negatifs: salle de bain tres basique avec lavabo tres petit. Surtout le petit dejeuner a ete decevant: nous sommes arrives 30 min avant la fin et il.n'y avait plus de oeufs / bacon / pain et jus d'orange... pas acceptable.

Small shower with slow draining water. Had a great breakfast with variety options. Blinds are blackout but didn’t fully keep the lights out so recommend an eye mask.

Kein Ambiente, kein schönes Hotel. Es ist ursprünglich ein Internat. Restaurantausstattung wie in einer Kantine. Hat uns gar nicht gefallen und wir sind anderswo essen gegangen. Frühstücksbuffet gut, aber man musste sogar alles selber abräumen. Ich finde das geht gar nicht, wenn man ein Hotel bucht! Für diesen Service ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis katastrophal.

Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful area

The hotel is a summer hotel, and looks like it is used for dormitory purposes. The rooms are very basic, but are serviceable. We found the beds quite uncomfortable, with extremely thin pillows. The curtains did not block out the light of the long daylight hours, so the room was quite bright when trying to sleep. There was a frequent banging sound that vibrated through the building. We think it was the main door, which was banging shut, as people entered and left the building. It made getting enough sleep quite challenging, as the noise and vibrations were occurring until quite late, and started again fairly early in the morning. The breakfast was good, with some hot options, as well as the usual continental breakfast offerings. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

School during the winter, hotel During summers. Friendly staff, good breakfast, minimalist room but comfortable.

Simple clean rooms with private baths only ~20-30 mins to Myvatn sites or Husavik (in other direction). The staff were friendly and helpful providing good suggestions for area hikes. The buffet breakfast was hearty with great variety - plus it was included in the price.

I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Laugar!

Little cafe down the road had a really good food and the breakfast at the hotel was also good.

We did a quick turn around. Got in late and left early. Was a nice breakfast. Very accommodating staff.

Comfortable room
