My husband loved this place. It’s always hard to rate these types of places because everybody’s looking for something different and it is very casual here. We loved how casual it was. The rooms were so cool. I would’ve loved to have had time to hide the area. We were very pleased with this place and would stay here again.

Cadre très agréable et oarfait pour voir des aurores boréales. Le confort et le petit déjeuner étaient satisfaisants, et les personnes à l'accueil de bon conseil pour les balades à faire. Secteur isolé et le restaurant le plus proche se trouve à 15-20 minutes en voiture, donc si vous arrivez en soirée il vaut mieux prévoir de dîner avant.

Very nice, cosy and quiet place.

Good location for exploring the area. The hotel itself isn't the best. Furniture is dated, our shower was broken, we heard the neighbors clearly... The room was dirty and dusty with even some trush peaking from under the bed. The bed was comfy and the room was warm and dry. Breakfast was okay, not much choice but you won't stay hungry. The young man at the reception was super nice. All in all, we would not book this hotel again.

Camera confortevole, pulita e di ampia dimensione. Buona la colazione. La struttura è situata in aperta campagna. Una delle strade che conduce alla struttura è uno sterrato di diversi chilometri, peraltro in discrete condizioni. Se possibile cercate una strada alternativa.

Very helpful, friendly staff and nice, comfortable rooms in a beautiful rural setting.

Room was big, but without heater. Breakfast was small, without too much options

Property was poorly kept, buildings were poorly maintained, poor access to food.

There were flies in the room and the shower cubicle had mould . But the staff was very friendly . The hotel /farm area is with the 5th generation of the family and exhibited lovely photos and momentous

Excellent and staff very helpful and professional.

We stayed a night in the little cabins here and it was super cute. The room was nice and big and my kids loved sleeping in the loft! The breakfast was decent. The only thing is my kids found a pair of dirty underwear under one of the beds. Otherwise, very nice. I would visit again.

This is a small rural community and small hotel. Interacted with 3 different employees at the hotel all of which were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful property. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly. The rooms itself are very cozy and comfortable. Beautiful location and highly recommend.

We only stayed here one night, but the family that runs this hotel seems lovely. The description says Dinner and Bar, but there was no dinner when we got there (we arrived at 8, maybe too late?). We didn’t need dinner, but want to make others aware. There are other restaurants and food trucks around the area. We did grab a couple of beers from the cooler to enjoy in our room. Close to 2 beautiful waterfalls! Gorgeous view. Very spacious room (with a separate little room for our daughter). Breakfast was great!

Family run, wonderful service, stayed up for us at reception bc we were late

The property is pretty far from the main road, but we were glad that not far from it is a very scenic spot of Hraunfossar and Barnfoss. The room is nice, with an attic level for sofas and a table with skylight.

This was my favorite hotel during our time in Iceland. The setting is positively beautiful and serene. Our room had a loft, so our teenager had her own space. Nice breakfast as well. Not particularly close to anything, but perfect if you want peace and quiet.
