ゴールデンサークルの観光時に宿泊しました。近くに温泉、スーパー、レストランがあるので素泊まりでも問題なし。部屋はいたってシンプル。家族4人だったので、シングルベッド2つと二段ベッドのシャワー付きの部屋に宿泊しました。朝は、持参した簡易な朝食を共用キッチンで食べました。特にいいことも、特に悪いこともなかったです。

ゴールデンサークルの観光拠点に最適です。スタッフもフレンドリーで、共用キッチン付でスーパーで買ってきて調理もできます。部屋は必要最低限ながら清潔に保たれています。

スタッフがフレンドリーで、チェックインとチェックアウトが速いし、環境は静かで、部屋も清潔。専用バスルームや共用キッチンなど嬉しい設備。靴を脱いで建物に入るところが、日本的で好感でした。

It was peaceful and had all that we needed for a night stay over!

When we checked in we realized the room was not the one we had reserved. When we pointed it out to the lady at the front desk she immediately moved us to the larger room we had booked, which we very much appreciated. The hotel is well situated for touring the area. The coffee maker in the large sitting room provided complementary delicious coffee and hot chocolate drinks which was a treat after chilly days in the countryside. The only disappointment was the breakfast which we opted to have the first morning. It was very basic so the next morning we had breakfast at a guesthouse restaurant just down the road.

Big room for a family of 4. Clean and spacious.

Rauhallinen paikka, sijanti kätevän ajomatkan päässä monista keskeisistä nähtävyyksistä ja kokemuksista (Geysir, Secret Lagoon, Bruarfoss, Thingviller, Silfra, kraatterijärvi Kerađ). Hauskana yksityiskohtana hotellin vierestä lähtevä parin kilometrin mittainen Müllerin liikuntapolku. Polulta hyvät treenivinkit kaiken kuntoisille ja upeat maisemat, mukaan lukien kokemus islantilaisesta metsästä. Aamupala oli monipuolinen, pieni jääkaappi vieraiden eväille kiva ratkaisu kuten myös juomavesihana. Kahvikoneen käyttö kuului hintaan ja siinä on kätevä täyttää myös teevesi termospulloon päiväretkiä varten. Huoneisiin kirjautuminen ja poistuminen sujui joustavasti. Maisema järvelle isosta ikkunasta oli upea ja pystyimme nukkumaan ikkuna auki rauhallisen sijainnin ansiosta. Läheinen spa oli valitettavasti remontissa, mutta auettuaan paikka on entistäkin mahtavampi. Vietimme täällä kolme yötä ja olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä.

This is a nice hotel. It is an easy location right off of the road. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a newer section, which was very clean and bright. We had a view of the river. The water pressure was great and the water was hot. An extra bonus was a heated floor in the bathroom and a heated towel rack. Much appreciated in the chilly Iceland weather. The room was spacious and the bets were comfortable. We definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff was exceedingly helpful way beyond the call of duty - helping carry suitcases up to our room, checking our car tires, recommending restaurants , and welcoming us to use the lovely common room with all it’s complimentary drinks and breakfast facilities. Our room was very tiny but clean.

Hôtel très paisible, avec un accueil particulièrement chaleureux. Étant donné la faible affluence, nous avons été surclassés dans une chambre du nouveau bâtiment, bien plus agréable que celle initialement prévue. Elle était vraiment charmante. Nous avons également apprécié la possibilité de prendre gratuitement du thé ou du café dans la salle à manger, où nous avons d’ailleurs savouré notre propre petit-déjeuner.

Perfect

Very nice and convenient stay within the Golden Circle. Midpoint between Thingvellir and Geysir/Gullfoss. The hotel is nice and they offer permanent station of tea, coffee and hot chocolate which are always a plus. The Laugarvatn Lake is right behind the hotel, making it a nice view for certain rooms. I would stay here again if I was ever back in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Laugarvatn. The staff was incredibly accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near Geysir and other major Golden Circle attractions, which made exploring the area so easy. There’s also a path for a mountain hike right across from the hotel, which was a great bonus and made the stay even more memorable. The peaceful setting by the lake added to the experience, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again. They also have great coffee!!!

The staff was super friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. We saw the northern lights for the first time in the parking lot!
