The view from here is absolutely stunning. From the volcanic cliffs out the bathroom window to the North Atlantic Ocean in front you. Not to mention the full view of Mt Stepafell. Break was fantastic and the coffee was top notch.

Belle chambre spacieuse, avec vue sur les plaines avec les chevaux et sur la mer au loin pour nous.
Nous avons dîner sur place le menu est simple mais excellent. Petit déjeuner sans prétention mais on y trouve ce qu’il faut pour tous.
Des petits points à améliorer il manquait le bouton du thermostat et des toilettes…
Sinon nous recommandons sans souci cette étape.

Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful & polite. The room was TINY - nowhere to put suitcases. We were tripping over them on the floor all night. It was very shabby - paint chipped, baseboard missing, front window was stuck closed. Bathroom window did not shut tight and the wind howled through it all night long. We paid way too much money for what we got. BTW - the horses are part of the stable next door not owned by the guesthouse. I was told “sometimes they come near the property - but they bite.” They were so far out in the fields that you could barely see them.

The staff were nice and the room was ok. Just really a bed and bathroom. There is a hot tub across the street but it's a separate charge. Breakfast is limited. Nothing hot. Location is good.

Breathtaking views, quiet and relaxing surroundings. Location was perfect to see all the amazing views the Snaefellsness Peninsula has.
The owner was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was everything you needed to fuel up for a day of adventures or relaxation. The Kast House is on a horse farm & we were able to take a morning horseback ride along the beach.

The shower had mildew in it, the room did not have a tv, the breakfast had sub par processed foods and lack of choices. The bed was comfortable and the views were amazing. We paid extra for a room with a door to the porch, but the door had a note that it could not be opened, light flickered on and off all evening and the girl at the front desk wasn’t friendly.

The view from the property is lovely. Would have liked to have visited the algae baths nearby but they weren't open. Room was nice but small. Bathroom was certainly passable but not roomy - stubbed my toe on the very high threshold more than once. Overall a pleasant stay. Was nice breakfast was included as well!

Lovely guesthouse and awesome restaurant. The staff and owner are super friendly and make you fell very welcome. A bit windy the night we got there but it calmed down half way through the night. Would definitely stay there again.
