Such a perfectttt stay. I have never stayed at a shared hostel so was skeptical at first but the place was out of this world 🥰🥰 so so so good and that too in the middle of nowhere ❤️❤️😍 cleanest bathrooms and separate toilets and that too very like countless of them (and all filled with all amenities you could think of). The kitchen was amazing as well. Rooms perfectly warmed up! And the place even had indoor heated tiles ❤️ the cherry on top of the cake was the fox 🦊 that lives around the area and comes visit (which we found on one of our late night walks in midnight sun) ❤️😘🥰 so dreamy 😍😍😍

Amazing place for a one night stay. Quiet, clean, excellent amenities and kitchen. And the best part is that all shoes, jackets are kept out of hallways and rooms and there are lockers to store bags outside of rooms, keeping areas clean and uncluttered. Excellent kitchen for self-sufficient travellers.

Era un hostel raro. Este es mi primer viaje en hosteles. Algunos francamente buenos otros algo deficientes pero Este es raro. Perdido en la nada y el único internet era el del hostel que bloqueaba ha YouTuber que yo sigo que comentan películas era como día tópico daba la sensación que en cualquier momento seríamos secuestrados para una secta maligna

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind gut aufgeteilt.

Das Fox Hostel ist ein sehr neues und sauberes Hostel. Es gibt genug WCs und Duschen, auch eine große Küche ist vorhanden. Die Betten sind durch Holzwände und Vorhang abgetrennt, man hat also genug Privatsphäre. Die Mitarbeitenden sind stets freundlich. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

호스텔은 이쁘고 시설도 잘관리되고 있습니다. 다만 슬리퍼를 챙겨간다면 더 좋을거에요. 리셉션 지나서부터는 신발을 벗어야하거든요

I absolutely loved my stay at Fox Hostel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was clean and well cared for, and the beds were super comfortable - exactly what you need after a full day of exploring. The kitchen was amazing and fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and connect with other travelers. I also met some truly wonderful people during my stay, which made the experience even more special. One of the most magical parts of my time here was the Northern Lights. Just a short walk behind the hostel in the evening, I had the most incredible aurora experience - it truly felt surreal. If the skies are clear and the conditions align, this is such a beautiful and accessible spot to witness them. I would highly recommend Fox Hostel to anyone traveling in the Vík area. It’s more than just a place to stay...it’s an experience. I would absolutely come back!! ✨

Hostel com ótimo padrão. Organizado, limpo e confortável.

Het Hostel biedt plaats aan maximaal 180 gasten. Het is allemaal nog nieuw en douches en WC's zijn top. Keuken is groot en biedt voldoende zitplaatsen, koelkasten en ovens. Het hostel ligt wel afgelegen, maar prima uitvalsbasis voor aantal toeristische trekpleisters. Bedden zijn prima. Het was voor mij de eerste keer in een hostel, het is me uitstekend bevallen.

The rooms were clean and cozy. Very comfortable beds, and the way the bunks are designed it feels like you’re in your own private pod! Unfortunately, I did not catch the name of the owner, but he gave our group a warm welcome, telling stories of the property’s history and giving recommendations of things to do in the area. The kitchen was large with multiple cooking stations and plenty of seating (also very clean and up to date with all the necessary appliances, pots, pans, dishes etc.). Bathrooms were clean and modern. The whole property was gorgeous, very new building, peaceful, it was a truly restful atmosphere. The view from our window was beautiful and we saw northern lights from the property. About 30-40 min it es outside Vik it was a good midpoint spot for seeing more of the southwest and not go too far from Reykjavík. Would absolutely stay there again next time we’re in Iceland. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in!
