Both room and in-house dining options were of high quality. Situated in a walkable and historical area with lots of other dining options as well.

Great boutique style hotel stayed 3 nights . Very clean and comfortable. Attentive friendly staff. Lovely pool area , where complimentary refreshments are served around 16.00 with a couple of snacks. Dined twice at hotel delicious food. Good location step out where there’s a good selection of shops, cafes and dining options. Highly recommend.

It’s a beautiful property. But the restaurant needs to have better services - different waiters kept bringing the wrong order after repeatedly correcting them.

Beautiful property in a great location. Staff was attentive and helpful. The pool is beautiful and the food excellent. They arranged airport transirtation as well as transport to Marari Beach.

Excellent

This is an extraordinary hotel, a colourful and unique oasis in the middle of bustling kochi. The rooms were beautiful and large and cool with a hot shower and comfortable beds. The pool and communal areas were also gorgeous and tranquil. Breakfast was fine, a good selection. Staff were great also. The afternoon snacks were delightful and a really appreciated extra. The fresh lime soda from the bar was amazing. It is quite noisy as it is in the middle of the town so cars horns and dog barking are quite loud but the shutters help and this is unavoidable in its location. The hotel is well situated for walking out to nearby cafes and shops with local clothes and crafts as well as the local sights such as the beach and the st Francis church.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful boutique hotel. Takes u back to history with all modern amenities. Awesome service with cleanliness. Plenty of staff available for help at all hours. Highly recommend and will definitely return for stay in future!!!!

CHarming location and construction with a lot of local history

My husband and I initially booked our stay for about 3-4 days, but once we got there, my husband hurt his back and we extended our stay. The staff definitely went over and beyond to take care of us. We requested a 3-day treatment from the male massage therapist on staff - which helped my husband immensely. On top of it, we requested the staff for a doctor, who prescribed medicine for my husband, which the staff went and got for us. They checked on us and inquired about his back every single time they saw us. They even brought food from the breakfast buffet to our room since my husband's back was so bad he couldn't walk over to the restaurant area. It was just amazing. We can't wait to come back to this place the next time we're in Kerala!

What a fantastic experience at Forte Kochi! I have stayed at many places but this one was a truly special experience. You can look at the photos and note that it is a gorgeous and intimate place but for me it was the staff. They were extremely attentive, kind and, were aware of your needs even before you noticed. It takes a special team of people to elevate your experience to this level. I am definitely returning to this gem!

Old world beauty

We were on our way back from a 5 day trip and stayed here for one night to visit Kochi. We stayed here on New Year's eve. The hotel seemed to be very popular amongst International guests. The front desk people are very polite and helpful and the overall staff is very friendly. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are good size. We had arrived before check in time, but they worked with us and helped us get our rooms early. They have their own restaurant wherein we enjoyed our lunch. We had stepped out during the evening to watch Kerala Kathakali show (walking distance from the hotel) so had dinner outside. However we enjoyed their breakfast buffet. There were many food options ranging form continental to Indian/south Indian food. All food was freshly prepared and was hot and delicious. You could also order food from a list wherein they will prepare it for you in the kitchen. It ranged from dosa, omelets, stuffed paratha. We really liked the ambience. They also have arrangements for a free historic walking tour in the neighborhood starting at 7am. We really enjoyed the walk. Overall a good stay, will probably stay longer on our next visit to enjoy other hotel amenities.

Interesting historical building. Closely located to several walkable sites, restaurants and retail shopping.
