A Hidden Gem in Yercaud – Exceptional Location, Views & Service! Yercaud is undoubtedly one of Tamil Nadu’s most underrated hill stations, and this property makes you fall in love with it even more. Perched at a strategic location, the hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views of the valley, including the entire stretch of Salem city and even the distant glimmer of Mettur Dam. It’s a rare vantage point that makes a memory to cherish. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and warm. We were delighted to be offered an early check-in, a small gesture that made a big difference after our drive with kids. Special thanks to Shaktivyel, who made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The service levels were exceptional throughout our stay. A heartfelt shoutout to Ramu** and Veerumani at the restaurant. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality enhanced every meal. Our kids had a blast thanks to Feroz, the activity manager, who kept them joyfully engaged with well-planned games and entertainment, giving us some much-needed relaxation. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay, it’s an experience. With stunning views, top-notch service from their entire crew, and the charm of Yercaud all wrapped into one, this is a must-visit location and a must-stay property. Highly recommend it for families, couples.

It was an amazing experience but the AC in room was not high enough and when I try to lower the temperature,I noticed that beyond some temperature, I couldn't lowered down from my remote. I could have called front desk and since it was at midnight,I really sleepy and don't want to wakeup. That was the only negative experience which I encountered,apart from these everything including hospitality,food were awesome especially hats off to the location.I have to shout out some of the names like Rajkumari ,..in the restaurant did excellent service.

Great view and a good place to switch off and hide out completely to refresh yourself. I would definitely recommend the resort to my family and friends. Pool is awesome too and all rooms have got extraordinary view too ..

Extremely overrated. The bed is absolutely uncomfortable, we were waking up with back and neck pain. No air conditioner, no amenities in bathroom. They don't know what is a cotton bud! They had to come in the room and I had to explain with my gesticulation and body language what I need. After 30 minutes arrived cotton bud. Dirty. No mini bar. No phone in the room for outside calls, no signal, so if you want to make a call for a person who hasn't WhatsApp you cannot comminicate. No paper sheets, no pen or pensil. No any price list for the few, exactly 3 canes of soft drink and few snack which they have put on the desk below the TV. .You cannot call any landline number. The fridge and the fan extremely noisy, I can't asleep up to very late night due to this issue. Everything is old and bad mantained. Spa is not spa but only massages. The food is without taste, terrible and prepared without any knowledge of the food or cooking. The in-door games closed in a small dirty room, chessboard together with table ball in the same room? It's ridiculous. No any tour only a very expensive car if you want to go outside. All the hotel is smelly and humid. I really cannot mention anything positive at first time in my life about a hotel.

Comfortable, spacious, clean room & bathroom with a clear view of the valley & Salem town. NIce little balcony as well. It was very serene & peaceful in our room (Valley view). The view is even better from the top floor terrace & the Sky Walk. Senior & disabled friendly set up. Sumptuous breakfast. Overall efficient & friendly service. We used the hotel transport which was rather expensive but very convenient & reliable. Located on the 20th hairpin bend which is the last one on the Salem – Yercaud Road about 2 kms to Yercaud town centre. It is an easy 25 mins gentle uphill walk to Yercaud town centre. From there one can get rickshaws to take tourists to the various sights. The climate in Yercaud was very pleasant & fresh. Free WIFI (need to keep logging in)

We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 young children in valley view room. Room was spacious and lovely, balcony large and well setup. It was VERY quiet as it was off season. Better to go in shoulder or peak season for better ambience. We loved the veiws and even though it was winter and cold, enjoyed swimming in the pool. Pool guys was lovely and friendly and enjoyed entertaining our kids. Staff were helpful and abundant but their English could have been better, we had a few communication difficulties, wrong orders, unclear information, confusions. Food was ok - menu could have been more varied and restaurant should begin dinner earlier to allow for families with small children who want to eat before 7:30-8. Gardens were immaculate and I can imagine the shared balcony space would be great fun in summer when I think they put on outdoor buffets. Looks well set up for large business groups - would be a great place for a conference.

Stay was as always . Nice location , staff is good and helpful for all the needs . Their chef and baker are really good . Chef prepared few dishes as per our needs and was awesome. Baker made some nice breads and cake on our request , was yummy . Overall a lovely stay for us as in past . Only thing they must give little more training to their trainees before they are put on job !!

we stayed only 1 day and the external view was really fantastic!! opt for the pool view rooms and you will enjoy.Staff were excellent and cooperative. Food was just yummy!!! cannot forget the Dosa counter.... the balcony from the room is a pleasure. please ensure to carry sweaters as it will be extremely cold.

My family and I recently stayed here for three days, and this hotel has by far, the best ambiance of any holiday resort I've stayed at. Surrounded by lush vegetation and overlooking a valley, GRT Grand Trails is the ideal vacation spot. The service was impeccable, and the in-house restaurant dining menu offered every kind of cuisine under the sun including a massive breakfast buffet every morning. The only blimps on a perfect vacation were the power-cuts during the evenings which although only lasted seconds before the emergency back-up took over, proved to be a tad annoying. All in all though, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to visitors looking to de-stress and enjoy nature. Don't forget to take the early-morning nature walk organized by the hotel!

It's ridiculous. No any tour only a very expensive car if you want to go outside. All the hotel is smelly and humid. I really cannot mention anything positive at first time in my life about a hotel.

Great experience but would have been better if the shower wasn’t leaking as we like dry restrooms. The weather was great but the water in the pool was extremely cold. Would have been awesome if the water was warm/heated pool

Comfortable, spacious, clean room & bathroom with a clear view of the valley & Salem town. NIce little balcony as well. It was very serene & peaceful in our room (Valley view). The view is even better from the top floor terrace & the Sky Walk. Senior & disabled friendly set up. Sumptuous breakfast. Overall efficient & friendly service. We used the hotel transport which was rather expensive but very convenient & reliable. Located on the 20th hairpin bend which is the last one on the Salem – Yercaud Road about 2 kms to Yercaud town centre. It is an easy 25 mins gentle uphill walk to Yercaud town centre. From there one can get rickshaws to take tourists to the various sights. The climate in Yercaud was very pleasant & fresh. Free WIFI (need to keep logging in)

We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 young children in valley view room. Room was spacious and lovely, balcony large and well setup. It was VERY quiet as it was off season. Better to go in shoulder or peak season for better ambience. We loved the veiws and even though it was winter and cold, enjoyed swimming in the pool. Pool guys was lovely and friendly and enjoyed entertaining our kids. Staff were helpful and abundant but their English could have been better, we had a few communication difficulties, wrong orders, unclear information, confusions. Food was ok - menu could have been more varied and restaurant should begin dinner earlier to allow for families with small children who want to eat before 7:30-8. Gardens were immaculate and I can imagine the shared balcony space would be great fun in summer when I think they put on outdoor buffets. Looks well set up for large business groups - would be a great place for a conference.

Stay was as always . Nice location , staff is good and helpful for all the needs . Their chef and baker are really good . Chef prepared few dishes as per our needs and was awesome. Baker made some nice breads and cake on our request , was yummy . Overall a lovely stay for us as in past . Only thing they must give little more training to their trainees before they are put on job !!

we stayed only 1 day and the external view was really fantastic!! opt for the pool view rooms and you will enjoy.Staff were excellent and cooperative. Food was just yummy!!! cannot forget the Dosa counter.... the balcony from the room is a pleasure. please ensure to carry sweaters as it will be extremely cold.

My family and I recently stayed here for three days, and this hotel has by far, the best ambiance of any holiday resort I've stayed at. Surrounded by lush vegetation and overlooking a valley, GRT Grand Trails is the ideal vacation spot. The service was impeccable, and the in-house restaurant dining menu offered every kind of cuisine under the sun including a massive breakfast buffet every morning. The only blimps on a perfect vacation were the power-cuts during the evenings which although only lasted seconds before the emergency back-up took over, proved to be a tad annoying. All in all though, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to visitors looking to de-stress and enjoy nature. Don't forget to take the early-morning nature walk organized by the hotel!
