部屋から眺めが非常によいホテル レストランのスタッフは親切 ただ　高台にあるので　PORTERもいたが　重い荷物を持ってホテルまで上がるのはとても苦労しました

Breakfast and dinner

I can recommend this one. Best food and service. Little away from city but you can feel the peace and beauty

The view was great. The description of the hotel is wrong. Access is only for backpackers. Wheelchair is a joke. Taxis are not allowed closer than 200 m and from there it is steap up. In winter you even cannot be sure of that. We had to go approx. 1km on a slippery road. Taxis did not dare go there. The hotel is not suitabel for use in low temp. We had reserved 2 nights but left after 1 night. - still cold as ice.

This hotel is set up high near what is called The Mall which is a long retail street. You are not allowed to drive to the hotel as vehicle access is not allowed to the area so your bags have to be carried by porter. The hotel has spectacular views, the staff are friendly and helpfull. There is a good restaurant and importantly the location is great to walk to points of interest.

Honeymoon Inn is a charm in Shimla. It has a central location with easy access to all the attractions. From my room I can see the entire Shimla valley. The evening view is fantastic. I love the garden but in later September it was a bit chilly to sit out after sunset. We ate in the hotel restaurant and liked all the meal options. During the weekend they served buffet and weekday you can order from the menu. I would consider to stay there again if I visit Shimla. The restaurant staff was particularly friendly.

Honeymoon inn was wonderful Room size was adequate, the view was fabulous, well worth the many stairs Location was great and we enjoyed walking through the main streets Hotel had umbrellas for us Breakfast was excellent The first dinner was amazing We were spoiled We were able to choose almost any item off the menu. We even had a banana split. Of course the main Indian dishes were excellent For the second night, dinner was completely different! It was a buffet but the choices were quite limited, but they still made us a banana split! The place is being renovated and will be even better next time Choose this hotel for the service, location, the view and the breakfast, and dinner if you’re lucky enough to get it off the menu

The hotel was very tired looking and needs money spent on it especially the price they are charging. We have stayed this trip in Homestays at a fraction of the price with more modern bathrooms and dining rooms. However the reception and dining room staff were very polite and helpful and the hotel does have a really modern tv lounge room with pool table which is so totally different to the rest of the rooms. It’s a shame they have not refurbished everywhere like this. Also the previous reviews mention a steep slope leading up to the hotel. We are very fit and this would not be suitable for anyone disabled or an elderly person with difficulties walking. The cars can’t ascend it and guys from the hotel carry the luggage up for you. This is a feature of the hotel which needs considering especially when you are in and out so many times throughout the stay.

A great hotel with breathtaking views of Shomal and the surrounding hills. Close to the Mall and central landmarks. Very attentive and helpful staff. The food on the restaurant is excellent and the buffet breakfast is well worth the money. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Honeymoon Inn. There was only one drawback, considering how wet Shimla can be, the hotel needs to make provision for guests to be able to dry their wet clothes.

Hotellet ligger perfekt, precis bredvid The Mall och på en höjd med bra utsikt. Servicen var mycket bra och rummen rejäla men något gamla (bodde i ett "vanligt" rum). Halvpension innebar i princip att man kunde beställa hur mycket man ville från deras meny (dryck ingick inte), så det kan man ju välja vad man föredrar. Notera att det är en bit från tågstationen till hotellet/centrala Shimla, så ta en taxi.

It is a good hotel, but it's location is not user friendly for families with old people or small kids as it is at an uphill treking distance of approx 400 mtr from the main road and the hotel taxi (a maruti van) has limited operations. Not a recommendable hotel for elderly or small children.

The hotel is located at the top where you can see the whole city of shimla along with the sunset. The staff were very friendly and professional. We had stayed in the honeymoon room and must say that the room was comfortable and clean. Food was very delicious and fresh.You can feel the tranquility and complete silence when u sit in the garden and watching the lush green forest and pine woods...

Good Hotel.

I liked staying at this hotel. I will rate this hotel as 3 star and not as 4 star hotel. Pros: 1. Excellent valley view 2. Food is good liked the lunch and dinner provided at hotel restaurant 3. Room Facilities are Ok 4. Staff is good 5. Liked the entertainment options provided by hotel (Karaoke, Caram board, pool table etc..) Cons: 1. Breakfast Buffet menu doesn't have much options. Same breakfast was given on FRI & SUN morning. 2. TV did not worked properly during our stay.. Cable issue every time and Hotel stuff was not prompt in resolving the issue quickly even when we were staying in the most expensive room(Honeymoon Suite). Cable connection was from some local vendor.. That gave me a feeling of some low standard hotels.

The hotel staff very nice and helpful. on checking there was a confusion about my room type. which was quickly resolve. very pleasant and memorable stay there . the staff will go the extra mile to help . the food was excellent Bravo chef. will definitely return if visiting Shimla again

Take care of the monkeys, no bar,excellent service, pick n drop to MC parking by car, slightly costly according to the hotel's location and ambience , Walk 300 mt to right from the Mall rd lift to reach the hotel. But it was a nice stay.
