The front desk staff was quite rude. Room has problem with its electric fixtures, you need to insert the key in its socket multiple time to get power in the room. Be ready to wipe the water from restroom floor after shower as it will not drain properly. While checking out , our coffee bill was Rs 240, I didnt have change, front desk person was bothered about it, his gestures showed that he was no happy about the fact that i provided Rs 500 note and it was fully our responsibility to provide change and he had no responsibility to provide change. He made us stand quitr sometime without any action on his part to resolve this issue ( we were on our way to catch our train) I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, will never visit this hotel again. You have several option more closer to the golden temple in from of big streets than this hotel which is located behind the temple(10 mins walk) in the narrow street. It also took them several minutes to check my Expedia booking in their system. I don't this they are well prepared to do business in this fast paced technology era.

Comfortable air conditioned clean. Very courteous and helpful staff. Standard western amenities. Highly recommend it. The only caveat is location. While it is only 3 minutes away from Darbar Sahib (with entry right next to Akal Takht Sahib!), it is very difficult to get your car there, because the streets are too congested. They do have parking but it took extra long to get in and out. So park outside and take an auto to the place.

The property was very close to entrance of Golden Temple

Our stay at Heaven View was comfortable. We were checked in early and the staff was very helpful with with all our questions. They assisted us with getting rickshaws, tickets , storing our luggage and made our stay very comfortable and our trip to Amritsar memorable. The hotel is a short walk to the golden temple. Highly recommend Heaven View!
