The 10-L hot water unit makes for a quick shower unless you prefer cold showers. The linens are old with holes and stains, but clean. I slept well on the firm mattress. Mosquitoes frequented the room despite the repelling unit in the room. The staff were attentive and eager to serve. This was my third time staying at Hotel Raj Palace as the location is quite suitable; it is within walking distance of a simple shopping mall and a quick ride to the airport.

Receptionists are nice. Provide good service to transport me from and to airport. It is near the airport

The staff was phenomenal. They far exceeded expectations of friendliness and helpfulness. The food was also outstanding. We ate dinner at the restaurant out of convenience on the first night, but we continued to eat there because it was so good. I will stay there again on my next trip to Kolkata.

Not at all professional. The AC was not functioning properly. The bathroom was so congested even in the executive room ! No shampoo or handwash available.

This is a scam property. They were there to scam people in different excuse. I have been staying hotels last 40 years all over the world. I have never experience a hotel charging guest for 2 nights stay only for 14 hours stay. Also all the amenities they posted in Expedia either nonexistence or poor. Receptionist is very poor in communication in any language. Only thing he knows to blame Expedia for everything and using obnoxious and vulgar words. The staff even used verbal and physical assault. This is a dangerous and unsafe place to stay. They should be barred from hotel and hospitality business and reported to the Law Enforcement Authorities to take actions for their illegal business.
