Clean room, great host, beautiful colonial property. The breakfast was good. Very good location next to everything including the beach and boardwalk with all kind of restaurants around.

Beautiful and unique property full of character. The AC room on the ground floor was spacious and comfortable. Well located for all the attractions of Fort Kochi and at a surprisingly low price. Five star service from our host.

I absolutely loved our short stay here, the rooms are beautiful, airy and HUGE. The staff and management were really helpful, and the location is perfect. Lots of nice restaurants, small beaches, and shops just a short walk away.

The hotel is basically fine, well positioned and an attractive property. However, not all the rooms are equal - check for one of the nice A/C rooms. My room was also cleaned only once during the entire 10 day stay, towels not changed more than once either, though I think if I had asked, it would have been done. Water was cold on several mornings. When we came to pay our bill an extra charge was slapped on for using a credit card (I think if you book via Expedia or similar this will not happen - some of our guests had arranged over email and had a discount, which was removed). But I want to put in a good word for Hareesh, who was absolutely tireless in doing his best to sort out all our varied needs, room changes, breakfast requirements and so on. Thank you Hareesh, much appreciated. As I had a nice room, it was actually a good stay, and even with the revised charge, good value for money. The cups of tea made for us were not charged as extras, and there is a comfortable sitting room, too.

Great place to stay - very spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend it. The bathrooms need a bit of renovation but overall very nice place!

Interesting old building,enormous room but lacking real comfort,needs cares and restyling,staff very kind,simple breakfast .

Wer grosse Räume mag mit Vorzimmer und Bibliothek und den altportugiesischen flair mag, ist hier richtig. Badezimmer nicht auf den neusten Stand. Dafür ein wirklich netter, hilfsbereiter gästehausbetreuer der alles für einem organisiert und stets zu Diensten ist. Alles in allem ein ruhiges schönes Haus.

Beautiful colonial mansion at the heart of old city. Luxurious rooms that retain mansion feel. Lovely staff. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Kochi.

Wir waren vor 8 Jahren hier und hell begeistert von dem riesigen Zimmer. Inzwischen haben sie auf den wunderschönen alten Holzboden einen Teppich gelegt und es ist nicht mehr sauber.
