Wonderful space with lots of foliage. Clean rooms.

We stayed in Mandore Guest House in December 2019 and it was a very good experience. The ambiance of the place is very different with a garden in the center surrounded by the rooms. This make for a very pleasant ambiance which is also very enjoyable and very different (in a good way) from other hotels and resorts. There is also a dedicate parking lot for cars. The place is a bit outside of the city but well connected by local transport (autos). The food at the restaurant is also quite good, though the food is veg only. The room was quite basic with the bare minimum of things. No storage for clothes. That is definitely an area of improvement. The only incident that left a bad taste in the mouth is as follows: This place is visited by a lot of foreigners from various countries. Once, we were having breakfast at the restaurant; there were 2 Indian families (including us) and 2 foreign families. The person at the reception (later came to know that he was a close relative of the owner) came inside the restaurant and greeted the foreign families but did not have the courtesy to speak a word to the Indian families. I was really dumbstruck and quite taken aback by such a behavior. But it done seem that India visitors are not of much importance to this property. Other than the above incident, our stay was quite good and it was a nice experience.

It is an awesome place. Is unlike any hotel one would visit, and it was an excellent stay at mandore guest house. The staff is also very helpful. The room setting, the gardens all feel luxorious. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are arranged around a sweet garden, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is nothing to write home about, and the service a little surly. However, the story of the owner at the front desk more than makes up for his demeanour: the hotel is his vehicle to help impoverished rural families, both through use of profits and facilitating volunteer work assignments. Our dinner was very tasty, well-priced, and very memorable under a tree in the courtyard! Two large fires with seating around each provided beautiful settings for evening relaxation.

On a rail line, this pleasant guest house has a pool and garden setting. It is uber cheap but the staff are surly and we had the following problems which were resolved for us: no water, no electricity, tv didn’t work and we dubbed it the bat cave because our room was so dingy with the lights on. The hot water system is internal and had a cold shower before realising there’s a switch to turn it on. Pool water is freezing but had a lovely swim. The gardens are really special and the food is good.

Bonjour n'avons passé qu'une seule soirée dans cet hotel, nous avons-nous lu plusieurs commentaires très positifs mais au final il s'est avéré très ordinaire, les employés ne sourit jamais, à la limite on a l'impr soin d’être de trop, bien que le site soit tout de même beau, il n'y a aucune ambiance, En plus nous nous n'avons jamais été en mesure d'avoir accès au wifi, les connections sont limité si vous arriver en fin de journée et que l’hôtel est relativement pleins oubliez ça. Le proprio n’était pas très souriant mon plus. Bon pas mauvais mais on peut trouver mieux je crois.

Firstly this property is outside of Jodhpur city proper which has its pluses and minuses. The surrounding area didn’t seem very appealing so it really made this place seem like a private oasis. The gardens are pretty with lots of area to explore and little nooks and seating areas to relax at. I believe the restaurant within the property is vegetarian only. Having said that, as a meat eater I loved their food there. Major con for us was that the bed was quite firm, we slept okay so it wasn’t that problematic but be prepared for very little give and comfort

Being closest to NLU served the purpose of visit for joining the child in NLU.

Set in a leafy garden with trees and shrubs whose names are posted on them. A chance for everyone to learn. Uniquely styled rooms with all the necessities. Simple and healthy food offerings. Garden space to chill down, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. Courteous staff with politeness beyond description. One of the best beds ever experienced in our travel anywhere. One cool factor is the number of plug outlets to satisfy the gadget geeks who carry humpteen of those with them. As my husband's cousin Sundar would say - this Place is "a few minutes from India".

Normally there was no one at the Reception Desk. No intercom in the rooms ! No exhaust fan in the bathrooms. Drinking water is not supplied in the rooms ! I had booked 2 rooms for 3 nights by paying 100% in advance for a family holiday. On arrival I was forced to sign in advance on Check out column also without indicating date ! This place is okay for one night stay only.

This is quite a good resort/hotel which is located away from the bustling Jodhpur city. It is near the Mandore Garden which is a bit on the outskirts of the city. The resort itself is like an oasis. Lots of trees and greenery. Places to sit and chill with your family/friends under the trees. Or grab a book and be at peace. The cottages are quite good. They were recently renovated and in very good condition.Tastefully done interiors and washrooms. Only problem is that there is no separation between the wet area and dry area. So the whole washroom gets wet after taking a bath. Had a great sleep with no disturbance. We had only the breakfast from there and it met the expectations. Go there for 2 or 3 days to relax and calm yourself. Enjoy your time with nature and your family/friends. They can arrange for transportation to-fro the city and would cost 300 one way.

De kamer was een huisje op zich en was van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer ruim. De aangrenzende tuin werd elke dag goed bijgehouden en een fijne plek om te vertoeven. Het was wel een stuk uit het centrum (auto nodig), maar nabij de Mandore gardens.

Peaceful green oasis in the hustl & bustle of Jodphur.

Chambres assez propres mais beaucoup d'insectes (fourmis, etc) y rentrent du fait du jardin. Plutôt étouffantes en été car mal isolées. L'hotel est loin du centre ville.

Hôtel très bien,calme.Permet de bien se reposer aprés une journée de visite à jodhpur. Accueil et service assez froid, peu sympathique.

25 minutes out of town , but only quiet while no trains are passing !! Very very loud train horns ! Great room set in fantastic gardens . Good price for this hotel £25 a night ! But not including breakfast !

I had a wonderful stay at the Mandore Guest House. It's a little ways outside of Jodhpur, but easily accessible by cab or rickshaw. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant connected was wonderful.

Only stayed on night, but found it a great place to be. Generously sized comfy rooms, nice bathrooms with decent showers, all the staff were friendly and the food was really good. The owners son even leant me his Enfield motorcycle for a quick run up the lane!
