The staff was not up to the mark the behaviour was kind of rude

Absolutely gorgeous property. Made even better by absolutely splendid staff all around.

Excellent Property and Staff / Management.

The property location is bang within the town, which makes it convenient for a lazy stroll down the spiralling roads to the market areas in the evenings. The property was very well maintained and the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was good and so was the spa. Since it was our first time there we enjoyed thoroughly. Since we went during the pre monsoon time it was mostly foggy and it made difficult and pointless to venture out to view points where the views would be obscured because of weather. We spent most our time lasting in the property and those occasional walk down to the market and we truly enjoyed.

We stayed in a room with a great view of the mountain range. We were lucky to see the majestic Kanchenjunga from the balcony. We found the hotel room to be spacious, very comfortable, and clean. The hotel grounds were very nice with flowers blooming everywhere. The main restaurant served a wide variety of dishes which were mostly quite tasty. The restaurant staff was very friendly, gracious and attentive which made our dining experience a very enjoyable one.

Property nice receipt on desk representative should be more intillegent how to take credit card payment pos machine if one machine does not work he using same machine several time until I told other machine to use credit card credit card payment gone through nicely But I have to say as customer to use another machine That guy shoulde be more capable and smart Handel payment through credit card machine it is not problem net work but machine is broke but he use same machine several time

Schönes Hotel, mit schönem Ausblick von der Terrasse, und allem was man braucht. Besonders gefiel mir, dass so viel Geschichte im Hotel steckt. Bereits Heinrich Harrer hat damals hier übernachtet. Das macht es zu etwas Besonderem.

Best service, except room has no view blocked by another building

Didn't like anything about the property or the booking service Wot If. Wouldn't recommend either of them and wouldn't make the mistake of using Wot if again!

The Wi-Fi didn't work so that was not so great. Mountain Views were spectacular

This hotel is probably the best in Kalimpong - a town that frankly has little to offer a traveller. It was nice to come home to after battling with the noise and pollution - great staff and a nice big room. There are a few issues though - the 'hot' water in our room was only just got enough for a shower during our four day stay; they claimed not to serve alcohol when I asked for a beer but the next night they were serving a couple with a bottle of wine; and the restaurant policy is to charge for bottled water which is petty and ridiculous and just creates a bad feeling. Having said that, the staff are very obliging and sincere. Clearly they have had terrific staff development. It's a nice place to stay - the best choice in town in my opinion and I'd definitely stay again.

Great resort but lousy food quality....pre-paid dinner buffet was awful and staff won't allow to order from menu! Nice room but no view from room and was noisy ! Terrible Wifi....can't rely on internet during my entire stay

Very eclectic garden decor but don’t let that put you off!

Very clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel. Amazing food, central location and a much needed little oasis for a while from the outside.

This is a fairly new hotel, opened less than a year. The three rooms provided was damp and could smell extremely strong smell of mold. We all have issue with allergy, and as soon as we walked into the room, we could feel our allergy kick in. Upon request for an upper level room, we were told non was available. we later found out that the hotel was at 50% capacity. The hotel failed to resolve the problem. We were all very disappointed!

Definetly luxary comes at a cost. But if you want the best of it at kalimpong this is the place to be. From pool to games to children play area to gym to spa to library and even an ATM it has it all. Talking of food at its best the buffet at breakfast at lunch and at dinner all are fabulous with different choices every day. Rooms nothing to say about its just awsome. Enjoyment and relaxation with sheer luxuary can be said in a short statement.

Comfortable stay. Ambience was good. Food quality was so nice and delicious.
