A perfectly charming hotel with the friendliest, most thoughtful staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were there five nights in a spacious room with beautiful appointments. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The front desk arranged a sailboat cruise for us and yoga every morning on the roof at 6:30 AM. I can’t wait to come back to this dreamy place a block from the ocean.

Though it’s a newly constructed hotel, it follows a vintage architecture very earnestly - the high ceiling, the colonial furniture, and grand father clocks all reminiscent of the rich history of Pondicherry. Staff, at front desk and restaurant are very courteous without being overbearing. Overall we had a lovely time and our three year old enjoyed the stay in “hotel house” very much!

インドの中でもフランス情緒を味わえると聞いていましたが、全然そんなことはなく、普通にインドの町という感じでしたが、このホテルは地中海の小さなホテルにありそうなかわいらしい佇まいで、設備も全体的に雰囲気がよく、満足でした。古い印象はありますが、汚いということはなく、清掃はそれなりにしっかりされている印象です。

everything was very nice, the hotel atmosphere is great and very colonial French style, the only inconvenient was the construction going on which lasted from 9.00 am until 6.00 pm, very disturbing especially when lying by the pool area.

This is a lovely hotel in a great part of town - right next to the beach and promenade. The food is amazing and the staff is really good.
However, the hotel occupies half of a larger building. And the remaining half is currently undergoing significant renovation. I'm talking about power tools, drills and hammering - everyday starting from 9am till the afternoon. The sound was so loud that it was difficult to hear anyone talk. And the cacophony wasn't limited to the rooms - you could hear the noise from the dining area, pool area etc. I talked to management but all they said was that the construction was not under their control, and that they couldn't do anything about it.
Don't get me wrong - this is a great hotel and you absolutely should visit it. But make sure you don't set foot in it until the renovation is complete!

This is an exquisite hotel in the old French town in Pondicherry. Although not a heritage hotel, hotel, to their credit, made it a point to make it look so. Kudo. The rooms are luxurious and have all the amenities one would want. The from office staff, two men and a woman whose names I will add in when have access to the paper, were kind, courteous and super-helpful. I had a wonderful time!!!

Hotel location is great, clean, well kept. Excellent service, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. One minor issue is that part of the hotel is under construction, leading to noise pollution during day hours. Otherwise excellent hotel. I Highly recommend this hotel for your next trip to Pondicherry.

Fantastic property. Everything walking distance from there. Super friendly and very knowledgeable staff. The GM takes personal interest in the guests. He spent lot of time with us showing us where to go etc. Defintely plan to go back here.
