It is a hotel with fantastic service and good location.

Enjoyed the location of the hotel, next to the famous marine parade, and the transport options were unlimited.

The staff here was excellent but this hotel needs major improvements. It looks like owners don’t care about putting money into the hotel and only taking it out. His hotel has a good potential but is not going anywhere like it is. Breakfast was sent to room but very little choice except egg, banana toast and tea. Not worth the price hotel is charging

The checkin staff were rude and have a take it or leave it attitude. This hotel is very old and not worth the money they charge at all.

Location was terrific and relaxing. Spacious rooms.

It was ashocker. I did not have hot water for 3 days. They only did my bed once in 7 days.and that was when we checked out. They served tea with milk instead of black coffee. No room staff understood English.Stay away.

Excellent location, large room with balcony. Bath area was a bit outdated.

The room reminded us of the communist style rooms you get in Eastern Europe except that they are usually pristine. This was not. There was an old metal locker to put clothes in and the safe was in there... but not fixed to anything so really not a safe! The bathroom was a wet room and the floor stayed wet after you had showered so a trip to the toilet was a slippery affair. Forget toiletries, you need to bring your own. We left the room for a quick walk having just arrived. When we got back 30 minutes later we saw that the bin had been emptied so someone had obviously been in there. Why they needed to go in to service or do anything with the room when we had only just arrived, we dont know, but I found it very intrusive so we kept the Do not disturb sign on the door for the rest of the stay. There was a kettle so thats a plus point and we did have a great view of the sea and of all the homeless people who sleep on the sea wall every night which was quite upsetting. In terms of the area Mumbai is filthy. They are trying to get people to use litter bins. If its working, it isnt obvious. We also spent an hour trying to find an ATM that worked. Tried 9 before managing to get cash. The maximum you can take out is 10k INR (About £100) so if you aren't living cheaply you might have to go through this frequently.

Nice location.. but basic amenities. All staff expect to the tipped for everything. Quite disappointing that they insist on tips.

First, the Directions Link on Expedia confirmation is wrong. It took us to Khau Gali and not the Hotel. since I was checking in late at around 2 am there was not a soul in sight to ask for direction till some helpful police patrol helped us out. The Lobby is fine, the moment you step in to the hotel corridor upstairs is reminiscent of the Government Hospital building in the 1970's at best. Room was basic. Linen not to good. Breakfast is served in the room. No dining hall or restaurant exists. Hence too steep for the price.

Need better cleaning

SGH had helpful, friendly staff, was perfectly located and had a balcony view of the bay. Bath room was clean and tidy and worked well. Our room did not have a large bed (king or queen or even double) so we easily pushed the two single beds together.

abolut dreckig. noch nie so ein schlimmes bad gesehen. simples frühstück auf dem zimmer. kein seife oder sonstiges und das für 90€. nur für Inder geeignet.

I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel at all. Five main reasons: - Lots of noise from the staff, including ringing bells and shouting - even in the early morning - Internet has really low quality - Staff is generally unfriendly and generally distrustful towards customers - Open passage to next room toilet brings all kinds of ugly toilet sounds directly to the room - Air condition is almost not bringing any cold air even though it's really noisy.
