部屋は清潔で居心地が良いです。屋上のプールは景色が一望できてとても気持ち良かったです。 レストランで夕飯をとろうとしたら、混んでいてしばらく待つことになりました。大きなホテルなので、団体も多く、食事はゆっくりとれる雰囲気ではありません。

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the Spa. It was absolutely the worst spa and massage I've ever had and there was some suspicious behaviour in there which I avoided. However, I know that the spa is run separately. I would just recommend the management of this hotel to disassociate with the Spa and/or remove its mention from the website. Otherwise the hotel itself was perfect. Great food, great service, really wonderful experience.

Very pleasant stay in comfort. Rooms are big and good. only one issue - the toilet at main lobby needs to be maintained with cleanliness and that is frequently used by guest.

Breakfast is pretty good. Bathrooms in the property needs maintenance. The bathtubs and commode do have stains as they are old. Room-service staff attending the calls needs training on customer service. Overall the stay was pretty decent.

L'hôtel est juste beau à voir sur les photos car en réalité, il manque de propreté et surtout les photos sont très bien retouchées, attention. Le personnel n'est pas respectueux envers la clientèle, ils peuvent vous faire attendre 30min pour avoir une fourchette ou un verre de jus. Dans les chambres, la propreté est à désirer et le personnel est très lent lorsque vous les sollicitez. le comble : la piscine est dangereuse, surtout si vous avez des enfants. le carrelage de la piscine est cassé et peut blesser gravement vos enfants, ce qui a été le cas pour ma fille qui s'est ouvert le pied à en beaucoup saigner. Aucun dédommagement ni aucune action de la part du management resté béat face à cette situation, ils n'avaient même pas de trousse de secours et le comble, ils vous demandent si vous n'avez rien apporté avec vous pendant votre voyage ! Le tarif ne vaut pas le service rendu, si tant est qu'il vous soit rendu un quelconque service. La qualité n'y est pas. Très déçus de notre investissement.

The hotel was big with all amenities of a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was good. Room and bathroom were clean but need a revamp. The hotel is 10 to 15 minutes walk to The Promenade.

I stay at Shenbaga every time I visit Pondicherry. It is comfortable, safe and clean. Breakfast buffet is excellent! The a/c is great especially on those hot and humid days and nights

Nice location and pretty good service.

A reasonable hotel in a good spot outside of the French Quarter. Food in the restaurant was good, room a little tired. The bar needs daylight not neon lighting, and so much more could be made of the rooftop pool. A reasonable pool was an absolute must for us, otherwise we would have stayed in the French Quarter - although the promenade really isn't anything to write home about.

Dated hotel used mostly by travel groups. Very limited English speaking staff which is really not acceptable considering they are a four star hotel and charge those prices. Rooms are old but cmfortable

The breakfast is horrible. The staff are dis courteous. The room linen was dirty and torn and used Location is good but the people at the hotel and the service is just pathetic

The service was really good. All staff were polite, and the hotel was kind enough to allow a last minute extension of our booking as well as a late checkin. A simple, clean business hotel with nice Christmas decorations and a diverse breakfast spread. I'd definitely recommend to travellers to Pondicherry

Cleanliness and responsive staff

I love the front office and bellboys ('bell men') hahaha. They were very professional. The pondicherry seafood soup was just out of this world and its my greatest memory.

Good hotel at a great location. We opted for the duplex room to accommodate the kids comfortably and they really enjoyed the separate upstairs bed 😊. I drove down to pondicherry and was very particular that the hotel needs to have proper parking space for my SUV. As you know, many of those boutique hotels in pondy has issues with parking and most of the time you have to do a street side parking which is very much a hassle. Shenbaga has proper parking and valet. The restaurant needs special mention, the Pondicherry special Prawns and fish dishes were really tasty. The buffet breakfast was also a good spread, catering to Indian and foreign guests. Overall I am happy with the hotel.
