The housecleaning staff has a lackadaisical attitude toward thoroughness - after guest complaints and after checkups by two senior staff members - the servers in the dining room would deign to serve you if you ask repeatedly and make sure you understand that they are sincerely unwilling. But the managers are trying and seem genuinely wishing to improve - or they tell me - and it remains to be seen whether the hotel is able to pull itself out of 56-years of inattention. Would I stay there again? I honestly don't know because there are, after all, many other choices in that price range.

ムンバイのホテルは高いですが衛生状態を気にして選びました。インド門など観光の中心地からは距離がありますが、タクシー代が安いので気になりません。周辺の治安も悪くなかったです。

タイトルどおりです。 深夜に到着し、朝出発だったのであまりわかりません。 部屋は小さめですが、問題ありませんでした。 シャワーとトイレのスペースはちょっと窮屈です。 出てくる朝ご飯の種類はちょっと一般的なレパートリーとは違い、インド風？だったかもしれません。

見た感じは4つ星とは思えませんが、泊まってみるとなかなか良いです。一番安いカテゴリーの部屋でしたが、値段の割には清潔でアメニティもあり（ヘアーコンディショナーはない。）ました。スリッパも付いていましたし。 朝食もコンパクトでしたが、サービスもがんばっていましたし、オムレツ、ドーサなど頼むと焼いてくれます。

Booked a room with a king bed was put in a room with / single beds

Terrible experience. The mattress provided by the hotel staff was infested with roaches, which was absolutely unacceptable. The elevator button for the 8th floor was not functioning, forcing us to go to the 9th floor and carry our heavy luggage down the staircase every single time. Despite our struggles, no staff member offered any assistance. Additionally, there were no bathmats in the washroom, and when we asked, the staff suggested using towels as a substitute, which was highly unprofessional. Overall, it was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Under remodeling. Our bathroom door did not open completely . Not elderly friendly

The hotel is old and wearing out. Poorly managed. It took the front desk 20 mins to check us in and There was a dead roach in the room.

Need upgrade

We have stayed at The Shalimar Hotel, every year for last at least 30 years now, as it was good for all the amenities and staff were very friendly and looked after us very well! This time, there were too many issues, which I have submitted to the hotel on their feedback firm and I was very verbal too with complaints. Not staying on our return to Mumbai, which we had booked with Expedia, and cancelled it today.

Staff were friendly enough. Hotel in good location. Hotel was in average condition for price charged. Spent 13 nights.

Convenient location. Accommodating staff that changed room when we complained of the smoking smell.

This Is my 5th times that I’ve stayed at Shalimar Hotel, and I loved it. Staff is extra courteous and very helpful and friendly. Overall Excellent Services. While I’ll certainly return back to stay in future, I’ll definitely recommend to collogues and friends.

Mr Kirtan Ghoda was very helpful in coordinating my RT PCR test. Most centres were closed but he was able to organise it for me and was available over the phone even I had already checked out.

Beautiful old hotel that gets a lot wrong. I booked a non-smoking room, and they had none left. So room smelled. They changed my room which improved it a bit, but another room they showed me smell SO STRONG of perfume. Old hotel that needs a lot of maintenance. Beautiful old marble. 1/2 shower didn't work. Small corners of cleaning need to be done. Breakfast was very weak. Safe was not screwed to wall, and battery kept dying.

Property is centrally located, Breakfast is not up to par, there are minimum towels, I will not stay next time

The hotel is well situated and the staff is friendly and helpful My room however was small as were the closet and the little window with a blind that didn't work The hotel advertises rooms that are probably nice but mine wasn't. The breakfast buffet was average maybe a little better on Indian foods On the whole my appreciation is quite benevolent
