ステップウェルホテル

夜行列車でジョードプル駅に着いて、そのままホテルへ直行。遺跡を活用した素敵なホテル。チェックイン前の時間にも関わらず、部屋に通して頂き、フレキシブルに屋上のルーフトップバーに朝食を用意してくれて、壮大な城塞を眺めながらの朝食、最後はマサラチャイ。最高なホテルステイでした。翌朝、早朝の出発だったため、気を利かして、パンやフルーツを持たせてくれて、もう感動のサービスでした。

Limpíssimo, muito bonito, localização especial, atendimento impecável. Único pequeno ponto negativo: cobrar 450 rúpias por uma água com gás é excessivo. Acabamos não usando o restaurante por isso.

Amazing location! Clean, bright and beautiful rooms. The staff are wonderful. The rooftop terrace has lovely views and the food is excellent. Would happily come back here.

This hotel is in a great location making it very easy to visit all the key sites. The building itself is full of character and the view from the rooftop restaurant particularly beautiful at night. The breakfast (a la carte) was fresh and of a high quality served to us each day by a lovely waiter. We’d read that some found it a little noisy it certainly didn’t cause us any problems.

Chambre au calme à l'arrière de l'hôtel parfaite pour nous. Petit déjeuner copieux sur la jolie terrasse avec cette sublime vue sur la forteresse de Mehrangarh. Personnel tres attentionné.

Belle hôtel bien placé en plein centre ville (pas accessible en voiture) il faudra prendre un tuctuc pour venir jusqu'à l'hôtel, le Uber vous laissera devant l'horloge, il y a environ 500m, mais faut mieux le faire en TucTuc si vous avez des bagages (150 Roupies) Très bon accueil, il y a un petit ascenseur, un rooftop avec une belle vue sur le Stepwell ou l'on peut shooter les personnes qui plongent dans l'eau. Chambre avec vue sur le Stepwell (Puit) beaucoup de bruit (Klaxon des motos et Tuctuc + le brouhaha des gens qui parlent) ne nous a pas gêné pour dormir. Belle vue sur le fort depuis le Rooftop, bon petit déjeuner qui se prend dans le café à 40m avec la aussi une vue sur le puits, choix important, (à la carte pas sous forme de buffet) au final c'est top, on choisi et on nous sert (sucré / salé) et c'est copieux. Pas de TV (mais vraiment pas utile) Wifi rapide. Très facile d'aller à pieds pour le shopping au bazar. Visite du fort accessible à pied depuis l'hôtel, ça grimpe pas mal au début mais faisable facilement. On est resté 2 nuits (étape entre Agra et Jodhpur), facilité de faire son running le matin dans les ruelles ou jusqu'au fort

5 star service in a 3 star hotel Look no further. Book this hotel! The negative reviews do not reflect in any way the experience that is offered by the new management. The staff really made the magic happened for us, they were thoughtful, kind and went above our expectations. The rooms are well decorated and super clean, the roof terrace is one of a kind and the small size of the hotel makes it feel like you are at home. If you are confortable with the noise and action of the old city (windows are not sound proofed, but that was not a problem at all for us - you’re in India after all), this is a perfect mix of good location, relatively affordable price and high end service. We would go back in a heartbeat!

In the walled old city opposite the Stepwell. very convenient for shopping, clock tower and fort(10min walk). Room clean, good WiFi, water kettle etc. room overlooked stepwell so could sit on window seat and watch life unfold. restaurant closed when I stayed which was a pity as the views were good. Breakfast was freshly cooked with good choice at sister cafe which also overlooked stepwell. Manager very helpful such as sourcing an adapter for me within minutes. He was also a very knowledgeable Liverpool FC fan. Only potential downside is noise from stepwell but I thought added to authentic experience

Wonderful stay at this newly restored historic building with a nice view of the town, especially from the roof top restaurant. Ideally located in the center of the city and next to the well preserved Stepwell.
