There was lots of insects on the bed in the morning at 6.30 The shower was completely cold…..no one told us to switch on light for heater! I was checking out at 9.00am My payment was taken just before I came down for check out ……without my consent. Refuse to refund.Only did not charge for dinner about £6.00!

Excellent value - lively hotel with three good, clean pools. Staff were impeccable as was service. Lovely bar (and bar staff) which served very good cocktails, even better with a BOGO offer! Nice location with easy access to beach and beach restaurants, though the food at the hotel was also good.

We booked the most expensive lounge room and the hotel staff and the housekeeping staff were lovely and hence the stars are for them. The food was well below average, we paid extra for breakfast for 6 days and only managed to eat there 2 days because it was so bad and we ordered room service a bunch of times and each time the food was very mediocre. Main thing to be aware of is that they do not allow Ubers near the hotel in the street and they want you to use their taxi service instead which is four times the price of the Uber. One day we decided to book an Uber (as it was 300 rs compared to 2500rs the hotel was asking for) after being ripped off a few times but we were told that we would have to go to the main road so we started walking to the main road which is about a kilometre away and came across a tuk-tuk so decided to get that to the main road mainly for a little tuk-tuk experience and suddenly realised there was a guy who'd followed us all the way from the hotel to make sure that we weren't getting in the taxi on that street and ended up having a big arguement with the tuktuk guy telling him to not take us. That was very creepy and weird and frankly a horrible thing for a hotel to do to this customers and guests.

Location is really great. We had friends trip. It was more relaxing as there’s nothing much around to do. We had family suite, which was great. Breakfast was Ok. Could have added more variety. But otherwise resort is great, huge property, right on the beach.Rooms were very clean, had all needed aminities. All the restaurants on the property had delicious food. We loved our stay.

Rooms are horrible. Had to change rooms four times. Very badly maintained rooms. Only saving grace is the staff and the food.

This a very old property and badly needs a facelift. Everything looks old and dated. The amenities are just basis. They don’t even offer a hand towel in the toilets and the iron board which came after calling housekeeping was rusty and very old. This is 3 Star property, definitely not a 5 Star.

We have travelled all over the world but our stay at the UDAY was superb, the staff went beyond our expectations We would definitely be coming back in the very near future I would like to have a special mention to the Manager's for the catering, Prasants, Soumitra also a special thanks to Blesson also a Nijin, Jyothy and sindhu All the staff who made our family stay a very enjoyable one Must not forget our room attendant Adarsh And all the staff are a credit to the Hotel Cheryl, Scott and Carlton Johnson

Da ich schwerbehindert bin, habe ich ein Hotel gesucht in dem alles vorhanden ist weil ich schon vermutet habe, dass ich nicht großartig außerhalb unterwegs bin. Hier gibt es fünf super Restaurants , drei Pools und einen hervorragenden Service! Nur auf der Buchungsseite war das Zimmer falsch angegeben, dieses Zimmer gibt es nicht mit 56 Quadratmetern auch schallisoliert/geräusch gedämmt sind die Zimmer keineswegs. Ansonsten kann ich das Hotel nur empfehlen, habe zwei Wochen verlängert.

Just an average place though it's a huge property it doesn't have a charm of a good hotel. The breakfast was very average. Rooms was quite okay as nothing special to comment.

Beautiful place very near to the beach to see sunrise and sunset. Seafood restaurant serve very tasty food. The ayurvedic massage options is a plus The bed is comfortable and air conditioning good The bathroom looks tired and needs updating.

The hotel itself is very well-maintained, with clean and spacious rooms that cater to comfort and relaxation. The staff at the hotel were exceptional—polite, friendly, and always willing to help with any questions or needs. Special thanks to the lady manager who stepped in to resolve an issue with my booking. Although I booked through Expedia, wasn’t informed hotel that the booking didn’t account for my child, and the hotel initially requested an additional fee. Fortunately, the manager handled it professionally and efficiently, allowing us to enjoy our stay without further issues. One word of caution: be careful when booking through Expedia. I tried to contact them about the discrepancy, but received no response. Based on my experience, it might be better to book directly with the hotel to avoid any confusion. Overall, Uday Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations, and I would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful beachside retreat with excellent service, food, and views!
