I visited Bali with my boyfriend for the first time and stayed in Villa Kubu for 4 nights. We stayed in Villa 4, which is spacious enough for two persons. We loved all the facilities but especially the outdoor pool and living where we could've stayed forever.
The staff are so nice you can see a smile on their face all the time, and we also loved their food. The complimentary breakfast was beyond our expectation! I loved both of their western dishes and Indonesian dishes such as Nasi Goreng.
The location is also good, we were able to enjoy shopping in the downtown of Seminyak as it was in the walking distance.You feel Legian or Kuta close if you walk by the beach as you forget the time watching waves and surfers (although it technically took us about an hour to Kuta on foot). We never took taxi to those cities though.
I definitely want to go back to Villa Kubu, maybe another type of villa next time!

すごくダメ、という訳では無いがリピートはしない。
No.3に泊まりましたがやや老朽化が進んでおり、使えないコンセントや全く冷えない冷蔵庫と所々使いづらい箇所があります。
冷蔵庫の修理交換をリクエストしましたが改善はありませんでした。
追加の電気代がかかることは口コミで理解していたが、クリーニングの費用もかかるし1日以上時間が必要で使い勝手が悪いです。
また、夜がかなり暗くもう少し照明が欲しいと感じました。

チェックインの際、ホテルスタッフと警備員に宿泊者だと伝えるも、入れてもらえず。名簿を見る素振りもなく、挙げ句の果てに「ヴィラ クブ スミニャックはここではない」と言われ、(GoogleMAPやホテルの看板はここなのに)言われた方向へ歩くも見つからず。1時間程探したが見当たらない為、タクシーに乗り場所を伝えるとやはりこちらが合っており、物の30秒も乗っていないのにタクシーには大金を請求され、間違った案内をしたスタッフと警備員は真摯に謝りもせず、笑っていた。
また、予約していた部屋がなぜか他の客で埋まっており、代わりに部屋をアップグレードすると言われたが、最低グレードの部屋を与えられ、スタッフのサービスも最低。バリ島で過ごす最後の日を楽しみにしていたのに、最悪な気分で帰国することになった。
後日エクスペディアにも連絡させて頂きます。

This used to be one of the best properties (if not the best) in Bali. During Covid I think they suffered huge losses and then the property changed hands. Maintenance is fairly poor now and the villas have started to look tired. Staff and service is still excellent. Till a few years back I used to recommend this place to everyone in confidence but I don’t think I would stay here the next time I’m in Bali. This used to be an exclusive high end property but due to poor maintenance, it’s become like any other running property.

Really lovely stay relaxing and quiet if the music was too loud next door we just had to message the WhatsApp number and they would sort it out. Basically would fix issues right away. Provided a tank of filtered water for the whole stay so you done need to purchase water we did have a little friend in the roof of our villa and we informed them but yeah

Loved our stay at villa 11 would definitely stay again. Bathroom with the fish pond and waterfall was amazing. My husband loves fish so loved feeding them everyday. Close to a large supermarket and lots of restaurants close by.

We like the quietness of the properties. The only cafe food is goos except it closed at 430 pm. The villa is clean only after every two days. It means you use wet soiled towels for 2 days. The laundry clothes have to self collected at the reception area. We do not see any security or barrier at the entrance to check on the vehicle. Does not give you a sense of good security.

This was our third stay at Villa Kubu in 6 years. The first two trips were pre-Pandemic and the property maintenance, daily housekeeping, in-house restaurant and beauty spa, and staff levels were excellent. Post Pandemic, their business model has clearly changed, and sadly, not for the better. Staff numbers and therefore level of service was greatly diminished; regular maintenance has not been undertaken and there is no longer security stationed at the entrance to the property. Staff that were onsite were however pleasant and helpful. although contactable only via WhatsApp The property is in desperate need of renovation, or, in the absence of that, at least the restoration of daily and more comprehensive housekeeping services.
