The room was fairly small and had some furniture that I don’t think it needed. It was perfect for our 1 night stay. Liam was accessible through email and Teresa was amazing. Super clean, simple and great location

Das Chamberlain House ist auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung für alle, die eine super zentrale Lage suchen, von der aus alles wichtige, d.h. Stadtmauer und Pubs, in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist - und die auf Hotelservice verzichten können. Die Zimmer bieten alles was man braucht, ein Frühstück mit Toast, Marmelade und Cerialien kann man sich in der Gemeinschaftsküche selbst zubereiten. Hervorzuheben ist die exzellente Kommunikation mit Liam und die Hilfe durch Teresa bei der Ankunft.

Unfortunately the water had to be turned off due to a leak which left us unable to use the toilet, shower, etc. I realise that this was beyond the control of the owners. Despite that, the accommodation was clean, comfortable and very central. Liam greeted us at the property and showed us places of interest to go to and nice places to eat.

Bien situé, aménagement récent, chambre moderne. Cuisine commune propre et bie équipée. Le parking est pratique.

Basic rooms but excellent location and convenient. Clean and host was very helpful and accomodating. There is a pub at the rear of the property which was a bit noisy but minimised by closing windows. Room at the top of three flights of narrow stairs. Off street parking was greatly appreciated, entrance to parking very challenging to anything bigger than a mid-size sedan. Overall, good for a shortstay

Excellent base for a short visit - guest house rather than a hotel, but better for that and the complimentary bread, cereal, tea and coffee breakfast was a bonus.

We loved our stay here. Small room but cozy bed. We were staying on the top floor, so just be aware, there is no elevator and the stairs are steep. Otherwise it was a perfect stay . There is private parking in the back with locked garages, one for each room. Loved that. And the common room kitchen and living area are perfect! Clean kitchen and they even have snacks free of charge! Thank you greatly! Will definitely recommend

The Chamberlain House is a very well-located and extremely clean place to stay in the lively and friendly city of Derry. I recently stayed there as part of a trip around Ireland and found the room to be very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Upon arrival, Teresa greeted us warmly and assisted us with accessing the parking area. She then gave us some excellent recommendations for what to do during our time in the city. We especially appreciated her dining recommendations, which were spot on - both the Blackbird, where we had supper, and the Scullery, where we had a fabulous breakfast on our last day, were outstanding, among the best meals we had on the entire trip. We also appreciated having kitchen access and being able to stay in such a central location - you really cannot beat it. Thanks for everything, Liam and Teresa!

Theresa was very nice and helpful getting us settled. The driveway to the carpark is tight, but do able with some help. Location is very short walk to everything. Definitely stay here again.

The hostess was so nice and welcoming, giving us recommendations about the city and telling us about the area. Rooms were well kept and the common kitchen area is a plus. Really great location too.

I would highly recommend here. Close to everything, brilliant place to stay. Will definitely stay there again.

They have private parking but we park on street because they weren’t available to be present at the time of arrival. ( Around 7pm). The street are safe and the are is really safe too.

Great location.

Had secure parking, but was a cold night and we had no heating. Messaged the owner who said he’d turn it on, but we got back to our room after a walk around and dinner, and room was still cold. Could hear other guests in the complex but guess that’s too be expected in a place like this. The Town was quite cool to walk around the walls etc, never even knew about this till we turned up.

Fantastic property in the heart of Derry with local attractions and restaurants in easy walking distance. A warm welcome on arrival with helpful advice for our weekend.

Loved the Chamberlain House. It was clean but rooms are very small. With that the location was perfect to walk around and explore and that’s what we were looking for. Terese and Liam amazing hosts.

Very loud music at night and noisy! Horrible greeting up a narrow and steep staircase with luggage. Very small and inadequate counters for toiletries and other travel items! Would differently not recommend.
