Great location. Friendly and professional staff. Small but lovely rooms. Convenient to shops, restaurants and nature walks.

Was a great location for dining and Pubs. Hotel was very nice.

Great hotel with fantastic breakfast

Very enjoyable stay at the Lansdowne. Room was comfortable, very clean, and very quiet even though we were right beside the street on the ground floor. The bar was very cozy, and had great live music both nights. Highly recommend.

The manager at the reception made everything about the start cheery and positive (originally from South Africa). She is very helpful towards all guests. This is a fine hotel - listened to the live Irish music they had in the bar. Wonderful!

Beautiful, vibrant town with many pubs and restaurants. The women at the front desk(I can’t remember her name) but she was from South Africa was AMAZING! Super friendly and incredibly helpful. She gave us great recommendations for nearby pubs and day trips during our visit. I really can’t say enough about her.

Lovely small hotel with on site breakfast bistro, full service restaurant and 2 taverns. Very close to all the shopping, restaurants and attractions that Kenmare offers. Ideal location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Older property that has been well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Parking is available on location. If it’s full, park in the adjacent gravel lot that seems to be unattached to the Lansdowne but available for anyone to use.

Rooms are a bit small but that is the only thing! Wonderful location, wonderful staff, great hairdryer!!! Daniel is a wealth of information and so charming! Would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing hotel and super friendly staff. The room as gorgeous as was the bar and all parts of the hotel. We had a night cap in the bar and there were traditional Irish musicians which was fantastic. The bar man was very knowledgeable about the whiskies. Breakfast was superb too - possibly the best porridge I’ve ever had. If you’re even visiting Kenmare I would highly recommend the Lansdowne. An outstanding hotel!

Kenmare is a great little town and the hotel is right in the center of it! Historic and well appointed.

Great location Nice room

Stayed for two nights, the staff were super friendly. We ate in the restaurant and couldn’t fault the food then had drinks in the bar afterwards. Beautiful room with coffee machine and nice toiletries. Would stay again when we visit Kenmare

When we arrived the place semed deserted and it took a while to find someone to check us in. Once they arrived the staff and management were very helpful. The hotel relatively recently redwcorated somewhat lacks atmosphere and the rooms are very minimalist... not our usual SLH experience byt enjoyable all the same. Good food and service.
